The Great Truth....................The Powerful "GAYATHRI MANTHRA".......

The Great Truth....................The Powerful "GAYATHRI MANTHRA".......

This may be of very great interesting information worth circulating to one and all!!!
Rest depends on us how we react!!!

Dr.Howard Steingeril, an american scientist, collected Mantras, Hymns and invocations
from all over the world and tested their strength in his Physiology Laboratory.. Hindus'
Gayathri Mantra produced 110,000 sound waves per second.. This was the highest and was found to be the most powerful hymn in the world. Though the combination of sound or sound waves of a particular frequency, the Mantra is claimed capable of developing specific  spiritual potentialities.

The Hamburg university initiated research into the efficacy of the Gayathri Mantra both on the mental and physical plane of CREATION... The GAYATHRI MANTRA is broadcast daily for 15 minutes from 7 P.M. onwards over Radio Paramaribo,
Surinam, South America for the past two years, and in Amsterdam, Holland for the last
six months..... ...............&............One has got to believe this..................JK

Taking Charge Of Your Responses In Close Relationships

Hinduism - A religion or philosophy?.....................

Hinduism - A religion or philosophy?
HINDU WISDOM

The beauty of being a Hindu lies in your freedom to be who you want to be. Nobody can tell you what to do, or what not to do. There is no central authority, no single leader of the faith. No one can pass an order to excommunicate you, or like in some countries, pass a decree that orders your death by stoning for walking with a strange man.

We don't appreciate our freedom because we can't feel the plight of others who aren't free. Many religions have a central authority with awesome power over the individual. They have a clear chain of command, from the lowliest local priest to the highest central leader. Hinduism somehow escaped from such central authority, and the Hindu has miraculously managed to hold on to his freedom through the ages. How did this happen?

Vedanta is the answer. When the writers of Vedanta emerged, around 1500 BC, they faced an organised religion of orthodox Hinduism. This was the post Vedic age, where ritualism was practiced, and the masses had no choice but to follow. It was a coercive atmosphere.

The writers of Vedanta rebelled against this authority and moved away from society into forests. This was how the 'Aranyakas' were written, literally meaning 'writings from the forest'. These later paved the way for the Upanishads, and Vedanta eventually caught the imagination of the masses. It emerged triumphant, bearing with it the clear voice of personal freedom.

This democracy of religious thought, so intrinsic to Vedantic intelligence, sank into the mindset of every Indian. Most couldn't fathom the deep wisdom it contained, but this much was very clear. They understood that faith was an expression of personal freedom, and one could believe at will. That's why Hinduism saw an explosion of Gods. There was a God for every need and every creed. If you wanted to build your muscles, you worshiped a God with fabulous muscles. If you wanted to pursue education, there was a Goddess of Learning. If it was wealth you were looking for, then you looked up to the Goddess of wealth — with gold coins coming out of her hands. If you wanted to live happily as a family, you worshiped Gods who specially blessed families. When you grew old and faced oncoming death, you spent time in contemplating a God whose business it was to dissolve everything — from an individual to the entire Universe.

Everywhere, divinity appeared in the manner and form you wanted it to appear, and when its use was over, you quietly discarded that form of divinity and looked at new forms of the divine that was currently of use to you. 'Yad Bhavam, tad Bhavati'… what you choose to believe becomes your personal truth, and freedom to believe is always more important than belief itself.

Behind all this — was the silent Vedantic wisdom that Gods are but figments of human imagination. As the Kena Upanishad says, "Brahma ha devebhyo vijigye…" — All Gods are mere subjects of the Self. It implies that it is far better that God serves Man than Men serve God. Because Men never really serve God — they only obey the dictates of a religious head who speaks for that God, who can turn them into slaves in God's name.

Hindus have therefore never tried to convert anyone. Never waged war in the name of religion. The average Hindu happily makes Gods serve him as per his needs. He discards Gods when he has no use for them. And new Gods emerge all the time — in response to market needs. In this tumult, no central authority could survive. No single prophet could emerge and hold sway, no chain of command could be established.

Vedanta had injected an organised chaos into Hinduism, and that's the way it has been from the last thirty five centuries. Vedanta is also responsible, by default, for sustaining democracy. When the British left India, it was assumed that the nation would soon break up. Nothing of that kind has happened. The pundits of doom forgot that the Indian had been used to religious freedom from thousands of years. When he got political freedom, he grabbed it naturally. After all, when you can discard Gods why can't you discard leaders? Leaders like Gods are completely expendable to the Indian mindset. They are tolerated as long as they serve the people, and are replaced when needs change. It's the triumph of people over their leaders, and in this tumult, no dictator can ever take over and rule us.Strange how the thoughts of a few men living in forests, thirty five centuries ago, can echo inside the heart of every Indian. That's a tribute to the resurgent power of India, and the fearlessness of its free thinking people.

The Four Principles of Life...

The Four Principles of Life.....................

It is not important whether you believe in spirituality or not, the four principles of spirituality apply to all from the moment one is born and will remain there till the end!.........&.........Four principles of spirituality.......................

The First Principle states:........................

"Whomsoever you encounter is the right one"
This means that no one comes into our life by chance. Everyone who is around us, anyone with whom we interact, represents something, whether to teach us something or to help us improve a current situation.

The Second Principle states:
"Whatever happened is the only thing that could have happened"

Nothing, absolutely nothing of that which we experienced could have been any other way. Not even in the least important detail. There is no "If only I had done that differently, then it would have been different". No. What happened is the only thing that could have taken place and must have taken place for us to learn our lesson in order to move forward. Every single situation in life which we encounter is absolutely perfect, even when it defies our understanding and our ego.

The Third Principle states:

"Each moment in which something begins is the right moment"
Everything begins at exactly the right moment, neither earlier nor later. When we are ready for it, for that something new in our life, it is there, ready to begin.

The Fourth Principle states:

"What is over, is over"
It is that simple. When something in our life ends, it helps our evolution. That is why, enriched by the recent experience, it is better to let go and move on. Think it is no coincidence that you're here reading this. If these words strike a chord, it's because you meet the requirements and understand that not one single snowflake falls accidentally in the wrong place!........................&;..........................
Don't think too much about problems in life....They are just test papers given by God to see how much you learnt in His subject called "LIFE".

Importance of using coconut in Temple..................

coconut
Importance of using coconut in Temples..................
Known as “Tengai” (literally “honey fruit”) in Tamil, and as “Nariyal” in Hindi (literally “fruit containing water”, from the root word “nari” meaning “water”).
The coconut is a resilient fruit whose shell can withstand the pressure of sea water, so it is not impossible for it to have made the transit across the water without human assistance. A hardy plant, the coconut would have been able to survive in relatively inhospitable weather without much upkeep. It grows in sandy soil, requires little water, and requires virtually no maintenance.
In Indian culture ‘Nariyal’ or ‘Copra’ is a symbol of good luck and prosperity. Every auspicious work begins with the breaking of the coconut and the offering of ‘Nariyal’ is a traditional ritual. For success and prosperity at all occasions, the launch is done with the breaking of a sanctified coconut .All religious functions and rituals start with the offering of the coconut since it is regarded as the symbolic Ganesh, the deity who helps in the successful completion of any work undertaken.
coconut4-001Sage Vishwamitra is said to be the creator of the coconut. Its hard kernel inspires one to do hard work for attaining success. People get strength and improved eyesight by eating the kernel. The sick and the elderly find its water nourishing and ladies apply its oil for luxurious hair.
Germs can’t penetrate its hard kernel so it remains intact for months together. Coconut is used both as a food item and as a medicine. It is a rich source of vitamin E, B, C and calcium, iron, phosphorus and other minerals. It has high quality alkaline oil and is a rich source of fat. The protein found in coconut is also of high quality. Coconut is easily digestible, nutritious, blood enhancer, urinary tract purifier, strength giving and remover of the three doshas.
In Indian culture one of the most common offerings in a temple is a coconut. It is also offered at occasions like weddings, festivals, the use of a new vehicle, bridge, house, etc. It is offered in the sacrificial fire while performing hawan. The coconut is broken and placed before the Lord.
coconut1
It is later distributed as prasad (a holy gift). At the beginning of any religious occasion, a coconut is turned around the person or deity and broken at the entrance; this is to remove negativity and bring out the goodness. The whiteness inside the coconut denotes purity.
The fibre covering of the dried coconut is removed except for a tuft on the top. The marks on the coconut make it look like the head of a human being. The coconut is broken, symbolising the breaking of the ego. The juice within, representing the inner tendencies (vasanas), is offered along with the white kernel – the mind, to the Lord.
A mind thus purified by the touch of the Lord is used as prasad. In the traditional abhishekha ritual done in all temples and many homes, several materials are poured over the deity like milk, curd, honey, tender coconut water, sandal paste, holy ash, etc. Each material has a specific significance of bestowing certain benefits on the worshipers.
Tender coconut water is used in abhisheka rituals since it is believed to bestow spiritual growth on the seeker. The marks on the coconut are even thought to represent the three-eyed Lord Shiva and therefore it is considered to be a means to fulfill our desires.
The coconut also symbolises selfless service. Every part of the tree -the trunk, leaves, fruit, coir, etc. are used in innumerable ways like thatches, mats, tasty dishes, oil, soap, etc. It takes in even salty water from the earth and converts it into sweet nutritious water that is especially beneficial to sick people. It is used in the preparation of many ayurvedic medicines and in other alternative medicinal systems.
coconut3
Ancient Indian doctors used to burn its outer shell to prepare tooth powder, creams and ointments for burns. Every inch of the coconut plant is very beneficial to humans hence Indians consider it a good omen to receive or give coconut as gifts. It is also called ‘Shreephal’ because it denotes prosperity.
Coconut is a crop with unique features. Owing to its versatile uses, the demand for coconut and its products has been on the increase having already attained the premier position in the world. Moreover coconut is an eco-friendly crop which permits co-existence of multi-species of plants.

It enriches soil fertility in association with other crops and is quite amenable to organic farming if appropriate intercrops are grown in the inter-spaces. Due to multifarious uses, the future of the crop is very bright irrespective of the location where it is grown in the world.

When words are sweet, there is lot of positive impact..................

When words are sweet, there is lot of positive impact...................

Sweet words are like flowers, when given to others brings happiness and spread love. On the other hand, harsh words are like stones that hurt. Harsh words emerge when there is some weakness working within one. Harsh words means that in some way we are feeling helpless and we are resorting to something which is not so constructive. Take a vow.............. Today I will not say anything that is not sweet. If a situation does arise where I have to say something not so good and nice, I will move away from there. Till I am sure that I will not speak such words, I will not come back to that situation. In fact, I will try and resolve that point in my mind so that I don't speak anything negative....Enjoy a SWEET SLEEP...........................JK

MY WIFE...................MY WEALTH....

MY WIFE...................MY WEALTH....

The community, that usually has the surname Shah, has some of the wealthiest people in Kenya.

Many members own top of the range supermarkets, shopping malls, and factories. And the experience of interacting with the top leadership of the community was a major eye opener for me.

When I asked one of the leaders why the community appears to prosper- far more than others:- he gave me a very interesting answer:...........................

"My wife, my wealth" Principle.
He explained to me that they learnt that treating their women well has some very Tangible Benefits. According to them, women are like nature- they multiply what you give them, and give it back to you. They are taught- right early in life to treat their women right, irrespective

"If you give a woman a small seed, after nine months, she will give you a bouncing baby" he started in a poetic way he continued...............
If you give a woman love, she will adore you,
If you give a woman respect and honour, she will worship you,
If you give a woman time, she will give you a Life Time,
If you give a woman money, she will give you an investment.

On the contrary,........................
If you you give a woman slaps, life will slap you back.
If you oppress your woman, society will oppress you.
He then went ahead to give several examples of societies and communities that mistreat their women. He particularly pointed out at a world famous religion that oppresses its women- and showed me how they are at war with basically every one, and everywhere across the globe.

He then told me to open my eyes, and observe, with complete honesty anyone that treats his wife like trash, and follow how they end up. Or observe anyone that treats his wife like a queen and see how they end up.

He further reiterated, You all men will have to try it, after having lived on your ways for decades, just try this Principle for couple of years, you will be amazed to see your prosperity too.

Believe in "MY WIFE, MY WEALTH" Principle and Prosper.

A CHILD'S WISH.....................

A child's wish (A small story)................................................

A Primary School teacher asks her pupils to write an essay
"what wish do you want from God?"
At the end of the day, the teacher collects all the essays given by her pupils. She takes them to her house, sits and marking them. while marking the essays, the teacher sees a strange essay written by one of her pupils. That essay made her very emotional. Her husband comes and sits beside her and saw her crying. The husband asked her wife "What happened?"
.
She answered "Read this. It is one of my pupil's essay."
"Oh God, Make me into a Television. I want to live like the TV in my house. In my house, the TV is very valuable. All of my family members sit around it. They are very interested in it.
When the TV is talking, my parents listen to it happily and calmly.
They don't shout at the TV. They don't quarrel with the TV.
They don't slap at the TV. So I want to become a TV.
.
The TV is the center of attraction in my house.
I want to receive the same special care that the TV receives from a
my parents. Even when it is not working, the TV has a lot of value.
.
When my dad and mom come home, immediately they sit
in front of the TV, switch on it and spend hours.
The TV is stealing the time of my dad and my mom.
If I become a TV, they will spend their time with me.
.
While watching the TV, my parents laugh a lot and they smile
many times. But I want my parents should laugh and smile with me.
So please make me into a TV. .
.
And last but not least, If I become a TV, surely I can make my parents happy and entertain them. Lord I don't ask you anything. I just want to live like a TV. Please make me into a TV."
.
The husband completed reading the essay.
He said "My God, poor kid. He feels loneliness. He did not receive
enough love and care from his parents. His parents are horrible".
.
The eyes of the primary School teacher filled with tears.
She looked at her husband and said.......................................... "Our son wrote this essay".

ITS ALL ABOUT CREDIT CARDS...........................JK

Side Effects of CREDIT CARDS!.................. Let’s understand this better................& Remain cautious.
How did you make the payment for your shopping bills lately? I think credit card! Right, as they are usually more convenient to use than cash. Well, if used sensibly, credit cards can be an important financial instrument. There are several psychological reasons which prove that the use of credit cards can be hazardous to your financial health and one of the biggest issues being “overspending”. Let’s understand this better:
Use of credit cards stimulates overspending....................

We tend to spend more while paying with credit cards than cash. It also arouses a desire which ultimately compels us to go beyond our means. With the power of credit cards and the EMI culture, each one of us can buy helicopters also! Sounds funny, but it’s very simple. All you need to pay is Rs.6,667 per month for the next 200 years.
Now one may laugh at this, but if you delve further, you will realise that the use of credit cards has literally removed the differencebetween 'Buying' and 'Affordability'. It has made us believe that we cannot only buy, but we can afford each and everything that is available on earth. This phenomenon has extended to all the products we buy like mobile, car, TV, camera and even apparel!
Pleasure of buying v/s Pain of paying.................

Whenever and whatever you buy, there will always be a pain and that is called the pain of 'paying', especially while making payments with cash. Parting with cash causes great pain in spite of the pleasure of owning your desired object. And what is a better way out than using a credit card to avoid this pain? The use of credit cards delays the payment and ultimately the pain of paying.
Benefits vs Costs.......................

You pay more attention to the benefits of a product while paying through credit cards and focus more on the costs associated with the product while paying cash. Credit cards prompt you to purchase things you really don’t need and way beyond your budgetIt makes you lose control over your spending too.Retailers surely know these very well and therefore use various tactics to stimulate your pleasure points and desperately want you to use your credit cards. This enables a shift in focus towards the benefits than the cost.
So, what should you do?..........................
Start making payments in cash or use a debit card if at all using plastic money is a necessity. Debit card would bring more alertness than using credit cards as the money is coming from your account balance only. If using a credit card is a must, then be alert about the price of the product and other factors as discussed and set aside cash immediately. It would stop you from spending money that you don’t have.
And always remember the fact that it doesn’t matter how much you earn if you spend it all!................................OK
