Personality and Individuality
Many people become attached to their personality and suffer when it changes. One cannot, however, be attached to his individuality. In identifying the difference between personality and individuality, we can say that man's individuality is the actinic, superconscious mind, which is constant, permanent, ever-unfolding and secure, and deep within, at a more intense rate of vibration than his odic conscious and subconscious mind, which make up the ever-changing personality.
It is conceivable that man can have many different personalities, but he can have only one constantly unfolding individuality. And so it is the ego or personality masks we must identify as being the unreal and impermanent, and the actinic individuality as being the permanent, secure, ever unfolding and refined actinic phase of the mind. This week do an internal concentration on the words personality and individuality. Try to locate your individuality by identifying your several masks or personalities that you have created in this life and write your findings on why you can get attached to personality but cannot get attached to individuality.
You perhaps have had a series of good, positive and constructive experiences. They have gone deep into your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind has reorganized itself, giving you a more positive, constructive, fruitful outlook on life. As a result, several weeks later your friends say to you, "You look different. Your face has a glow. You appear eight years younger." These compliments also go into your subconscious mind, and you begin to feel good about your physical body. These good feelings, constructive, healthy feelings, again go into the subconscious mind and build from within itself a new atomic structure for the physical body. You take a new lease on life. Your body grows younger because your mind has had good impressions placed within it.
Think on this. Be renewed by a change of your mind, and seek for the constructive experiences with a positive reaction. Allow the reaction to bear fruit within the subconscious mind. Concentrate and feel the good feelings permeating the nerve currents running through the physical body, thus being renewed actinically from within.
Good feelings are like food to the physical body. Food from deep within the nervous system, fed out through the circulatory system, right out to the skin, makes for an inner glow which can be seen on your face and through the rest of the body. This constitutes happy organs. In other words, all of the organs of the body are working in perfect timing, one with another, being proportionately fed by actinic energy and the vital odic forces. A good, well-balanced "force diet" makes for healthy organs and controlled, calm, central and sympathetic nerve systems.

Management lessons from Chanakya
A very ood one to read by Managers at all levels.
Management Lessons from Chanakya
Throughout history, wars have left an indelible mark on human psyche. Serious debates have been held on the morality of and the strategic necessity for war. And yet, like every dark cloud that has a silver lining, wars too at times leave a society wiser.
India is no stranger to wars. And there are many lessons to be learnt from each of those battles -- management lessons, to be precise. Here we present the third in a series of articles on management lessons drawn from Indian history. This one picks out management gems from the role of the redoubtable Chanakya in the rise of the Mauyra empire.
Rise of the Maurya empire: Role of Chanakya (circa 320 BC)
Chanakya was also known as Kautilya and Vishnugupta. He wrote Arthashastra," The ancient Indian political thesis". There are several stories on Chanakya. One of them goes like this:
Alexander's invasion of western India , circa 326 BC, led to political turmoil that provoked Chanakya, a renowned teacher of Takshila, to sew up a coalition to take on the Greek forces.
He tried to convince many kings, but none agreed to his plans. Finally, he came to Patliputra, the capital of Magadha , ruled by the powerful Nanda dynasty. He went to their palace and found ten golden thrones. Nine were for the Nanda princes and their father, and the tenth was for the most learned person. Chanakya quietly occupied it.
When the princes came back, they asked him to vacate the seat, but Chanakya didn't and demanded a debate to prove his supremacy. The Nandas rejected the debate demand and did not give him any position.
Lesson 1 : Even though Chanakya was reputed and famous in Takshila, it does not mean he would be famous in Patliputra too. So his asking for the debate is justified to prove his worth. Similarly, a high performer' in one team or company needs to prove his worth in a new environment to gain the same tag.
Chanakya was prepared to face it. But he could try a different approach for the desired result. In the corporate world, referral plays a major role in hiring key senior employees. If any of the key ministers of the Nandas had referred or introduced him, he might have got the position.
Chanakya did not vacate the golden seat, and the Nanda princes physically pulled him down. During this process, a lock of his hair got ruffled up. At this moment, Chanakya took a vow to redo the hair only after defeating the Nandas.
They were about to punish him with the death sentence, but one of the ministers prevailed upon the princes to forgive him. Chanakya went out of Magadha and met Chandragupta, who was waiting for him.
There are many stories on how Chanakya first met Chandragupta, but one thing was clear: Chanakya could sense the inherent qualities in Chandragupta and trained him as he wanted to build an empire by making him the king who could protect India from the Greek invasion.
Lesson 2 : Fearlessness, perseverance and patience are the key attributes of any leader. This helps in setting lofty goals and fuels the determination to achieve them by executing against the well-laid-out plan.
Another great quality exhibited by the leader is in spotting' talents and grooming them to take bigger challenges.
Chanakya's first step was to sneak in a spy to keep a watch on the Nandas' inner circle. He knew one Jeevasiddhi, who was intelligent and could do the job. Chanakya told Jeevasidhi about some of the secrets of the palace learnt from Chandragupta who had heard about these from his father.
They sent Jeevasiddhi to the palace. Jeevasiddhi convinced the Nandas that he possessed supernatural powers by narrating the secrets hidden in the palace. The Nandas started leaning on him and consulting him before making any major decision. Slowly, he became a part of their coterie.
Lesson 3 : A background check is required for most hires, but a detailed one is a must for senior positions to ensure right fit. At a very senior level, where information regarding tender, bid, intellectual property and other trade secrets is involved, company must take steps to protect it.
Many companies ask people to sign the non-disclosure agreement and, at times, activate special clauses restraining them from joining rival or competing companies for a few years.
Meanwhile, Chandragupta started helping the people of Magadha . His popularity started soaring. This acted as a threat to Nandas. The Nandas had an intelligent minister in Amatya Rakshasa. He advised the Nandas to kill Chandragupta. Jeevasidhi learnt of the plan and helped Chandragupta escape.
Chanakya encouraged Chandragupta to take over the Magadha throne. Chandragupta networked with people and built the Mauryan army. Most of them were people disillusioned and unhappy with the Nanda rule. Chanakya and Chandragupta Maurya announced a battle plan and ensured that the Nanda army could be diverted to reach a distant battlefield to fight the Mauryan army.In the meantime, a civil war erupted in Magadha . Chanakya manoeuvered popular support for Chandragupta and the Nandas were uprooted without any fight.
Lesson 4 : A peaceful handover to the new management is desirable as it saves the company from infighting that could weaken it. It would be faster and fruitful to scale new heights from a stable company rather than a wrecked one. It helped Maurya kings to reach new heights faster not only due to their great leadership skills, but also due to peaceful transition.
It was a monumental task to build an efficient government for Chandragupta Maurya. Chanakya convinced Rakshasa to continue to be the minister of Chandragupta by sharing his grand vision of fighting against the invasion.Chandragupta was able to leverage Rakshasa's excellent skills in administering the kingdom. Chanakya assumed the position of an elder statesman.
Lesson 5 : One needs to perform and show results to be considered as a key resource. Key people are always in demand, but more so during organisation's transformation.
People are the main asset. Their knowledge and expertise can provide a big leap to any activity. They should be retained. Managers should not be biased in working with high performers' even if they used to work with their adversaries in the past, provided the person maintains loyalty and confidentiality.Top performers are attracted by lofty visions/goals and are willing to face difficult challenges.
While serving Chandragupta Maurya, Chanakya started adding small amounts of poison in his food so that he could get immune to it and would survive any attempts at poisoning.
One day, his queen, Durdha, shared the food with the Emperor while she was pregnant. She died and Chanakya extricated the baby from the womb. A drop (bindu in Sanskrit) of poison had got into the foetus, and hence Chanakya named him Bindusara.
Bindusara would go on to become a great king, and his son, Ashoka, would emerge as one of the greatest emperors.
Chanakya had a political adversary called Subandhu, who was in the court of Bindusara. He kept looking for opportunity to defame Chanakya in the eyes on Bindusara. On finding the right occasion, he mentioned to the king that Chankaya had killed his mother. However, the bigger question that remains is: why did the Maurya kings keep Subandhu when his envy towards Chanakya was well known?
Lesson 6 : In a healthy organisation, diversified and divergent views can exist. One needs to have people with great skills who can deliver better results by having a good team work and right division of work.
Peer pressure helps in extracting best from the people, but it should be managed well to avoid destructive peer relationship. If team work is becoming difficult, the leader should clearly identify roles based on strengths and in such a way that there is minimal overlap to avoid conflict. Team with high performers helps in better results and also cushions attrition.
Bindusara became angry with Chankaya. On knowing this, Chanakya walked out of the city, donated all his wealth and sat on a fast. When Bindusara learnt the truth, he felt ashamed and asked Subandhu to apologise to Chanakya.
Subandhu hatched a plan to meet him and asked him to forgive him. But secretly, he set Chanakya's abode on fire. Chanakya was killed in the fire.
Lesson 7: The important lesson here is a long-standing ally and staunch supporter of the Maurya empire was mistrusted by the king without understanding the complete picture. A vital resource like Chanakya was lost due to this lack of trust.
Managers should demonstrate maturity by having an honest one-on-one with the employee and listening to the other side of the story with an open mind before taking any drastic step.
" It takes time to build the trust, but it takes a moment to destroy it. "

Success & Failure are like......................
Failure is Only a Comma, not a Full Stop
Success is like a beautiful woman who may go away at any time, but
failure is like a mother who will be with you forever and teaches you
many lessons.
Success is the sweetest word in the world. Failure is the hardest word
in the world. But both are essential for a meaningful and successful
life. While failure teaches many lessons success keeps you moving
forward.
Abraham Lincoln's Failures:
"Failure should not alienate you and success should not elevate you"-
Leaders like Abraham Lincoln are an inspiration and motivation for the
people who fail miserably in life. He set an excellent example in
getting along with failures and became the first Republican President
of America. Whenever any individual faces failures look at this
American legend who faced maximum failures successively for many
years. Yet he demonstrated his dogged determination and iron will to
prove the world that anything and everything is possible at any age
provided lessons from the failures are well learnt.
Success - By Result:
Success should never be treated as an end result rather it should be
treated as a by result. You need to put in efforts and energies
regularly with a view of loving to do the job. When efforts are
sustained and focused for a longer time, success is sure to wed. In
Mahabharata epic, Lord Krishna rightly said,
'Do your duty and don't look for results'.
When you look everything from success perspective, there is bound to be frustration as you focus more on success rather on your efforts. When you focus more on efforts not on results then success is sure to touch your toes.
Move in Matrix:
You need to move in a matrix. Life is all about numbers. You need to
change the strategies that do not work properly. You need to align
your strategies to reach your goals. In life, there are two things to
be stressed upon – one is internal environment and the other is
external environment.. Mostly, failure is the result of the factors
and forces prevailing in the external environment. When you face
failure as a result of the influence of external environment you do
not have to regret. When you face failure as a result of internal
environment you need to take a quick look at the strategies that did
not work.
You need to accept the blame, change the strategies that are
feasible and possible and move forward with energy and enthusiasm. If
you see the big and broad picture even some of the problems arising
out of external environment can be anticipated and checkmated to avoid
any fiasco. But it requires a typical and extraordinary mindset
crafted from rich experience.
Examine Failures:
When faced with failures just think whether you failed in the same way
by applying similar strategies. In that case you stand out to be a
fool who do not learn lessons from your failure. If you failed
differently there is no cause for concern because you tried to work
out different strategies towards success and the same did not work
out. Therefore, examine the failures critically and creatively to
learn lessons and accordingly change strategies for achieving success.
Love, Success and Age:
Love and success has nothing to do with age. Anyone can love at any
age and anyone can succeed at any age. If you have a big heart, love
can blossom regardless of age. Similarly, if there is will power,
success can be acquired by turning around failure regardless of age.
Failure – A Comma, Not A Full Stop:
If you say that you have not failed, that means you have never tried.
If you say that you have failed that means you are mature to admit
that you tried and learnt lessons. It is folly to blame the fate for
all your mistakes. As a human being it is necessary to put in best of
your efforts and energies unmindful of the results. Over a period of
time, success does not become a by result but an end result.
To conclude, failure is only a comma, not a full stop. You can turn the
tide towards success with your passion. & ambition.

Appreciation An Exercise....................................
Appreciation: An Exercise...............Do it daily.
God taught "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
There are many ways to put this golden rule into practice; APPRECIATI ON is one.
Take for a moment about your family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances.
Doesn't it make your day when one of them says or does some thing to show they appreciate you?
Every one benefits from apreciation. Here is an exercise to strengthen your appreciation skills.
Pick some one that you interact with daily, and make it a goal to show your appreciation at least once in a day.
Be on the lookout for things that you genuinely admire about him or thank him or commend him.
Take a moment at the end of the day to reflect how it went .
Do you meet your goal?
What effect did it have on the recipients?
Make an effort to not choose the only those people you like most or feel closest to. Even the most difficult people to get along with have some good qualities.Showing appreciaion will not only give the recipient a lift,it will also improve your outlook by helping you view those around you more positively.
It seems to be human nature to notice the bad more easily than the good, and it is often relatively minor things that soar our relations, such as idiosynchrasies that we find irritating.
By making a concious effort to look for things to appreciate in others, focusing on the good will overide the humam nature and make you a more positive person.
Love and appreciation are to the heart what sunshine and water to a flower.
Be magnanimous to appreciate some people daily and make it a habit.

Continuous improvment
Continuous Improvement for perfection
Are you frustrated by problems that seem impossible to solve? In today’s economic climate problems abound. Persistent deficits, complex solutions, and special interests all combine to create major headaches. Why is solving problems so hard?
One reason could be as - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once said
“the solution of every problem is another problem.”
Yet Problems also create opportunities. So perhaps it has to do with your paradigm and depends on how you look at problems. The impossible is a paradigm - Change your mind and you change your performance.
To the wise, life is a problem; to the fool, a solution. - Marcus Aurelius
Process improvement rules can guide us to finding the solution. The trick is in having the right frame of mind and discipline to use them. For example, one simple rule to finding the root cause of a problem is to ask “why” five times to get to the root cause. The first answer is never the whole story.
How about “do it right the first time.” If it was done right in the first place then you wouldn’t need to make excuses for fixing it. Perhaps you didn’t have time to do it right, then when do you think you will have time to fix it? Either way you should correct the errors immediately.
So you asked why five times, which is giving you a pretty good idea what the problem is. What is the solution? It is time to involve everyone - we are smarter as a team than a single individual. But the team comes up with ideas that have been tried before. You need to reconsider rigid thoughts, situations change. Try to look at it from a new paradigm to eliminate the impossible thinking.
Once you have narrowed the ideas down to possible solutions, pick the simplest answers.. Mother Nature may appear complex but it is usually the simple solution that solves the problem. At one time people thought the planets moved in circular orbits, which caused astronomers to create complex calculations with odd retrograde motions to explain planetary motion. Then Kepler derived that the planets moved in elliptical orbits. At first he rejected the idea because he had previously assumed this to be too simple a solution. But he reconsidered such rigid thoughts and he was proven correct.
Complex solutions can also mean expensive. In simplicity thinking we like to use our mind more than our money. It is amazing how simple and inexpensive many solutions can really be. Why do people insist on spending hundreds of billions of dollars to solve problems?
Because it is much easier to spend money than it is to change people’s paradigms.
If you think a problem is impossible, then you also might think the solution is complex and you will need to spend a lot of money to solve it.
The goal of continuous improvement is just that continuous improvement, not delayed perfection. Continuous improvement implies we are always working toward perfection but never reaching it. There is always an improvement. So accept the fact that it is a process, make time for it, nothing is impossible, and discipline yourself to do it right the first time. Otherwise fix it immediately when it’s discovered, involve the team in the solution and select simple solutions to resolve the answer to the fifth why you asked. Problems are also opportunities waiting for you.
Ten Golden Rules
Problems create opportunities
The impossible is a paradigm - Change your mind to change your performance
Ask why five times to get to the real answer
Eliminate excuses, do it right the first time
Correct errors immediately
Involve everyone - we are smarter as a team than a single individual
Reconsider rigid thoughts, situations change
Think simple, not perfect solutions
Use your mind more than your money
The Goal: Continuous improvement over delayed perfection
Are you frustrated by problems that seem impossible to solve? In today’s economic climate problems abound. Persistent deficits, complex solutions, and special interests all combine to create major headaches. Why is solving problems so hard?

Guage your Age..................................
GUAGE YOUR AGE IN RIGHT PERSPECTIVE & REMAIN CONTENDED AND COMFORTABLE..............
George Carlin on age.
(Absolutely Brilliant)
IF YOU DON'T READ THIS TO THE VERY END, YOU HAVE LOST A DAY IN YOUR
LIFE. AND WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED, DO AS I AM DOING AND SEND IT ON.
George Carlin's Views on Ageing
Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old
is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so
excited about ageing that you think in fractions.
'How old are you?' 'I'm four and a half!' You're never thirty-six and
a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key.
You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the
next number, or even a few ahead.
'How old are you?' 'I'm gonna be 16!' You could be 13, but hey, you're
gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life . . You become 21.
Even the words sound like a ceremony . YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!
But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound
like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now,
you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed?
You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the
brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and
your dreams are gone.
But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60 You didn't think you would!
So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.
You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a
day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!
You get into your 80's and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT
lunch; you TURN 4:30 ; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there.
Into the 90s, you start going backwards; 'I Was JUST 92.'
Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a
little kid again. 'I'm 100 and a half!'
May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and
height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them.'
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening,
whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's
workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on.. The only person,
who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are
alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it's family, pets,
keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable,
improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next
county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
10.Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the
moments that take our breath away.
And if you don't send this to at least 8 people - who cares? But do
share this with someone. We all need to live life to its fullest each
day!!
Remember always, it's not where you have been but where GOD is taking
you right now.

Recession &Judgement-Story of a Man...........
This story is about a man who, once upon a time, was selling “wada-pav” by the roadside.
.
He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers.
He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio.
His eyes were weak, so he never watched television.
But enthusiastically, he sold lots of “wada-pavs”.
He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales.
His sales and profit went up…
He ordered more a more raw material and buns and his sales increased.
He recruited more supporting staff to serve more customers.
He started offering home delivery. Eventually, he got himself a bigger and better stove.
As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from College, joined his father.
Then something strange happened.
The son asked, “Dad, aren’t you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?”
The father replied, “No, but tell me about it.”
The son said, “The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times.”
The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV, he ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly.
So, the next day onwards, the father cut down his raw material order and buns, took down the colourful signboard, deiscontinued all the special schemes he was offering to customers and was no longer as enthusiastic about anything.
He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs.
Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his “wada-pav” stand.
And his sales started coming down rapidly, as did the profit.
The father said to his son, “Son, you were right. We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time.”
Moral of The Story:
It’s all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think we do!
What can we learn from this story?
1. Do not confuse intelligence with good judgment.
2. Choose your advisors carefully but use your own judgment.
3. A person or an organization will survive forever, if they have the 5 Cs:
Character
Commitment
Conviction
Courtesy
&
Courage
The tragedy today is that there are many walking encyclopedias who are living failures.
The more practical and appropriate views on this economic recession is:
“This is the time to regroup for any small or a big organization,
This is the time to motivate and retain people, which are the biggest asset,
This is the time to show more commitment to customers,
This is the time to show the ethos and values of your company to the world
And
This is the time to stand by their respective Nations”.

Teachings on "Adaptability".............................
Swami Sivananda Teachings on Adaptability
Adaptability is a virtue that one can put into practice at once. It is the one quality that will give one success immediately. Adaptability is a virtue or noble quality by which one adapts or fits oneself with others, whatever be their nature. This is the most desirable quality for success in life and has to be developed slowly.
One should be flexible if one wishes to adapt oneself to others. The world runs on adaptability. He who knows the art of adaptability gets on quite well in this world and is ever happy and cheerful under all conditions of life. He is free from worry and disturbance. It does not need much wisdom and thought to develop this noble quality.
Adaptability is like a strong catgut ligature. It links people in bonds of unbroken love and friendship. A man of adaptability can move about freely with anybody in the world. People love such a man. Adaptability will give one great joy and immense strength. It will develop a strong will.
An egoistic man finds it very difficult to adapt himself. He always gets into trouble. He always fails in his attempts. Egoism and pride are great obstacles in the way of developing adaptability.
Adaptability kills selfishness. It develops oneness with all. Having this wonderful quality, a man can live in any place. He can bear heat and cold. He can live happily in poor conditions. He can develop a calm and cheerful attitude. This divine quality will ultimately take him to God.
Develop this quality. You will win the hearts of all. Only then can you get success in life. If you wish to develop this quality you will have to be humble and loving.

Jagad Guru Sri Adi Sankara's words...............
Jagadguru Sri Adi Sankara's Hymn to the Divine Mother
O Mother! Let all my speech be your prayer;
let all my crafts and technology be your worship and be the mystic gestures of my hand, adorning you
.
May all my movements become your devotional circumambulating.
May everything I eat or drink be oblations to you.
Let my lying down in rest and sleep be prostrations to you. Mother!
Whatever I do, may all that become a sacramental service and worship for you.
AND
Vivekachudamani Teachings on the fall of a Man of Wisdom
No great danger is there for the man of wisdom than carelessness about his own real nature. From this comes delusion, thence egoism. This is followed by bondage and then by misery. (Verse 322)
Finding even a wise man hankering after sense objects, forgetfulness torments him through the evil propensities of the intellect, as a woman torments her doting paramour. (Verse 323)
If the mind ever so slightly strays from the ideal and becomes outgoing, then it goes down and down, just as a ball, inadvertently dropped on a flight of stairs, bounces down from one step to another.(Verse 325)

A Stitch in time saves nine.
A stitch in time saves nine
Meaning
A timely effort will prevent more work later.
Origin
This is nothing to do with rips in the fabric of the space-time
continuum, as some have ingeniously suggested. The meaning of this
proverb is often requested at the Phrase Finder Discussion Forum, so
I'll be explicit. The question usually asked is "saves nine what"? The
stitch in time is simply the sewing up of a small hole in a piece of
material and so saving the need for more stitching at a later date,
when the hole has become larger, Clearly, the first users of this
expression were referring to saving nine stitches.
The Anglo Saxon work ethic is being called on here. Many English
proverbs encourage immediate effort as superior to putting things off
until later; for example, 'one year's seeds, seven year's weeds',
'procrastination is the thief of time' and 'the early bird catches the
worm'.
The 'stitch in time' notion has been current in English for a very
long time and is first recorded in Thomas Fuller's Gnomologia, Adagies
and Proverbs, Wise Sentences and Witty Sayings, Ancient and Modern,
Foreign and British, 1732:
"A Stitch in Time May save nine."
Fuller, who recorded a large number of the early proverbs in the
language, wrote a little explanatory preamble to this one:
"Because verses are easier got by heart, and stick faster in the
memory than prose; and because ordinary people use to be much taken
with the clinking of syllables; many of our proverbs are so formed,
and very often put into false rhymes; as, a stitch in time, may save
nine; many a little will make a mickle. This little artiface, I
imagine, was contrived purposely to make the sense abide the longer in
the memory, by reason of its oddness and archness."
As far as is known, the first person to state unambiguously that 'a
stitch in time saves nine', rather than Fuller's less confident 'may
save nine', was the English astronomer Francis Baily, in his Journal,
written in 1797 and published in 1856 by Augustus De Morgan:
After a little while we acquired a method of keeping her [a boat] in
the middle of the stream, by watching the moment she began to vary,
and thereby verifying the vulgar proverb, '"A stitch in time saves
nine."

Getting hold of your Mind.........................
Getting Hold Of Your Mind
Those who are not considerate get very hurt when someone does not consider their feelings. Why? Because their feelings, their personality, are sticking out like antennas all over them, ready to be kinked up and twisted up when somebody is not considerate or loving toward them. Yet they don't show others the same consideration which they expect for themselves.
That is what creates the negative dream-everyone expecting everyone else to be very considerate of their feelings. And that is why we have etiquette books, to teach people to be considerate of other people's feelings--to teach those who really don't want to be considerate, but have to learn to be because they are out to build careers and make money, and they know they won't do so well unless they learn to be considerate, so they have to intellectually know how. But it is all surface. The word insincere describes the person who doesn't fulfill what he knows he should fulfill, but pretends that he does. We call him insincere.
That insincerity doesn't hurt anybody but himself, because you can't send out anything out into the world but that it comes back. When does it come back? It comes back later in life. He may get along fine when his body is young and healthy. He can be just as insincere as he wants to be, but later on in life he won't get along so fine, because the karmic rebounds start coming back, the reactions start coming back. They start coming back from other people, who become insincere with him. They also start coming back from deep within himself, from his conscience, when he learns that the way he had been was not right. Someday, unless he is fortunate enough to study yoga and clear it all up--perhaps through burning up the emotional memory patterns using the vasana daha tantra--he will suffer over it. And he will suffer over it a great deal.
The art of consideration is a real art, because it is a constant study. It really is a constant study. And it is a creative study. It is the art of learning how not to just get by; it is the art of learning how to fulfill your destiny through following the knowing principle inside you.
When you are in for the realization of the Self, you have to stop the cycles of hurt feelings and regrets. Just stop! You have to learn by exercising your knowing power and realize, "If I do this, it is going to have that kind of result. If I do that, which opposes my knowing of what I should do, I also have to know what kind of result that is going to create." Everything we do does have its consequences. It is up to you to sit down and meditate on such matters. That is what meditation is for. Meditation in the beginning stages is for getting a grip on your lower states of mind, so that the lower states of mind come under your control, so you learn to use your brain and don't loan it or rent it out.
When somebody causes you to do something that you don't feel that you want to do, or that you know is not the right way for you to behave, you are loaning out your brain to him. If somebody can make you feel antagonistic all day long because he didn't treat you right in the morning, he is using your brain, because he put that feeling into motion. He started something in you that you cannot conquer. But if, at the time of the incident, you straighten out the vibration with the person who made you feel antagonistic, by being considerate of his feelings, then you would be using your brain, and that is what you have to do. Maybe he is a young soul who will not learn to be considerate for a long, long time, and we couldn't expect that of him. That is why you have to meditate; that is why you have to get these things figured out--who's who on the scale of evolution.
Remember these three principles:
1) Your thinking is going to fight what you know. It is going to fight it all the time. You know you should do certain things, but you may not do them, because you have other reasons, and your other reasons will be good reasons, which you quickly forget because they are only good for the moment;
2) If you allow your knowing to dominate, you will be exercising your spiritual will. You will be alive. You will be dynamic. Spiritual forces will flow through you;
3) If you exercise your spiritual will, you will have a great power of observation and a great power over your own mind. No one will do your thinking for you.
After you have awakened your power of observation, your soul shines forth, and after meditation you will go into contemplation. You may think you are attaining high states of spiritual consciousness, but for real progress, your soul will have to manifest itself in what you do on the Earth all the time. So, these are your steps.
Don't allow the thinking to fight the knowing. Don't allow the thinking to rule your willpower. Then you will be spiritual.

Emotional Slumps.
Emotional Slumps
Everybody falls into negative slumps at one time or another when they deny the God principle within themselves, when they deny their knowing power, absolutely, deliberately deny it, by allowing their thinking principle-what they themselves think as a little ego-to take hold and cancel off, just like an eraser on the blackboard of life, the soul's attempts to express itself.
For example, you are going along fine, just wonderful, you are feeling great, and a little opportunity to serve comes up and you miss it. You know you should, but you don't think it is quite the time, when it would be just as easy to fulfill whatever you know you should fulfill. But you think, "Well, this isn't exactly the best time for me." and You have very good reasons to say no, excellent reasons, because the thinking mind is always filled with excellent reasons. They are wonderful for the time, but they wear out. That is why we don't exercise our memory and remember all the reasons we had for our actions.
If I asked why did you do this and that and those unseemly actions, you might say, "Yes, I know what you're thinking. I had a very good reason at the time, but I can't recall it just now."
You don't want to remember the reason, because you know it was only an excuse sufficient for a time.
Yet the action remains, along with the reason, which was a weak one, vibrating in the subconscious mind.
If you accumulate two or three such incidents, pretty soon you fall into a negative slump, where you don't feel like doing anything and nothing seems to make sense to you in the spiritual world or any other world. You just drag along and say, "Oh my, the burdens of life are getting pretty heavy." Eventually that condition wears out, too, and you swing back and get a little light in you. That is why people turn to stimulants, excesses of chocolate, sugary yum-yums (the junk food business makes millions on the negative slumpers) and various innervating beverages, such as coffee and soft drinks, to pep up the physical body. But the body can take only so much of these negative slumps before it reacts and, in its reaction, becomes unhealthy. Finally it succumbs to disease; it is not at ease within itself because the subconscious mind is not at ease.
When you refrain from denying that soul source within you and fulfill what you know you should do, then you are filled and thrilled with life force. Your soul is shining out in the material plane. You don't go into negative slumps. You become like the people who don't just get up to do things, they jump up and are happy to do anything they have an opportunity to do. But deny your knowing principle, and it becomes an effort to do anything--even an effort to remember how you should respond and what you should do.
Many people know they should do certain things to help out, to help their families, their relatives and friends. But as the weeks go by, what they know they forget,
because they really didn't want to do it in the first place.
They didn't think they had time;
they didn't think they could help;
they didn't think they could afford it.
They have so many limitations. They put their poor old soul into a cage. Excuse me, I am going to rephrase that. They put their poor young soul into a cage, because old souls manifest consideration. Young souls are just learning how. And this poor young soul climbs right into this little cage and sits, like a newborn baby, waiting for the subconscious mind-which has been filled with negative activity, negative thoughts and a negative approach to life-to unwind itself. But the soul within has to first watch itself wind up-and it winds up through the many lives, with all its negative creations, all of its thinking versus knowing, and thinking winning out every time. Then it has to unwind, and when it does unwind, pretty soon knowing gets stronger than thinking. Then we notice a spiritual unfoldment. Then we know that observation is taking hold.
Do you know how and when someone is spiritually unfolding? When suggested something, and he takes up on the suggestion and observes and thinks of the next step before I think of it, I know that he is spiritually unfolding, because through his observation he is producing knowing, and through his knowing he is being considerate of his fellow man, just as he expects everyone to be considerate of him.

Maintaining Magnetism inthe Family.
Maintaining Magnetism in the family
Today, more than ever, parents everywhere are concerned about keeping the family together. I have found that the key is to keep the pranas flowing harmoniously. A true family is a clan of individuals who love each other, which means they are bound together by positive pranic magnetism. When sons-in-law and daughters-in-law join the family, their pranic magnetism intermingles, and the family extends itself harmoniously, especially if the jyotisha compatibilities are good between the bride and her husband and the bride and her mother-in-law. This magnetism is maintained through the principle of zero tolerance for disharmonious conditions, to keep the pranas flowing within their homes in a positive, loving way.
This means that if there is a disruption of the pranas, caused by interpersonal conflict--argument, angry words or worse--the matter must be settled among those involved before they retire to sleep, even if it means staying up all night.
What is prana? Prana is vital energy. There are three phases of the mind:
Instinctive,
Intellectual
and
Superconscious.
They comprise three different kinds of prana in every human being:
instinctive prana,
intellectual prana
and
refined, superconscious prana, also known as actinic energy.
Instinctive pranas digest our food and maintain the functions of the physical body. They also give rise to the emotions of fear, anger, jealousy and other base instincts. The instinctive energies affect the mind, emotions and behavior. Without well-developed intellectual pranas, the mind is ruled by the lower nature and is easily influenced by others, often in a negative way. This is why children must be closely watched and guided during their formative years until their intellectual pranas develop in the form of good memory, discernment and willpower. The superconscious pranas bring through creativity, inspiration and intuition. These are the energies to be sought after and nurtured through various kinds of religious devotion and sadhana.
In nearly every home, all three kinds of prana are at work. Little children are functioning mainly in the instinctive pranas. Students are in the intellectual pranas. Parents, hopefully, are functioning in the spiritual pranas, at least part of the time, drawing into the home the cosmic, actinic rays of the soul, while balancing all three forms of prana within themselves.
It is the duty of the head of the house and his wife to take charge of all the three pranas within the home and keep them flowing harmoniously day after day after day after day.
How do they do that?
By prayer and regular, early-morning daily sadhana, bringing wisdom and other refined, actinic pranas through from the superconscious mind. When everyone is bound together with love, everything goes along fairly smoothly.

God does not call...........................
ALWAYS TO REMEMBER:
"God doesn't call the equipped; He equips the called. Your
worst days are never so hard that you are beyond the reach of God's
grace. And your best days are never so good that you are beyond the
need of God's grace!"

Seven secrets of Inspiring Leaders-A good read
The Seven Secrets of Inspiring Leaders.
Carmine Gallo's research reveals techniques common to the leaders who best know how to inspire their employees, investors, and customers .
by Carmine Gallo (October 10, 2007, Business Week Online)
American business professionals are uninspired. Only 10% of employees look forward to going to work and most point to a lack of leadership as the reason why, according to a recent Maritz Research poll. But it doesn't have to be that way. All business leaders have the power to inspire, motivate, and positively influence the people in their professional lives.
For the past year, I have been interviewing renowned leaders, entrepreneurs, and educators who have an extraordinary ability to sell their vision, values, and themselves. I was researching their communications secrets for my new book, Fire Them Up. What I found were seven techniques that you can easily adopt in your own professional communications with your employees, clients, and investors.
1. Demonstrate enthusiasm—constantly. Inspiring leaders have an abundance of passion for what they do. You cannot inspire unless you're inspired yourself. Period. Passion is something I can't teach. You either have passion for your message or you don't. Once you discover your passion, make sure it's apparent to everyone within your professional circle. Richard Tait sketched an idea on a napkin during a cross-country flight, an idea to bring joyful moments to families and friends. His enthusiasm was so infectious that he convinced partners, employees, and investors to join him. He created a toy and game company called Cranium. Walk into its Seattle headquarters and you are hit with a wave of fun, excitement, and engagement the likes of which is rarely seen in corporate life. It all started with one man's passion.
2. Articulate a compelling course of action. Inspiring leaders craft and deliver a specific, consistent, and memorable vision. A goal such as "we intend to double our sales by this time next year," is not inspiring. Neither is a long, convoluted mission statement destined to be tucked away and forgotten in a desk somewhere. A vision is a short (usually 10 words or less), vivid description of what the world will look like if your product or service succeeds. Microsoft's Steve Ballmer once said that shortly after he joined the company, he was having second thoughts. Bill Gates and Gates' father took Ballmer out to dinner and said he had it all wrong. They said Ballmer saw his role as that of a bean counter for a startup. They had a vision of putting a computer on every desk, in every home. That vision—a computer on every desk, in every home—remains consistent to this day. The power of a vision set everything in motion.
3. Sell the benefit. Always remember, it's not about you, it's about them. In my first class at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, I was taught to answer the question, "Why should my readers care?" That's the same thing you need to ask yourself constantly throughout a presentation, meeting, pitch, or any situation where persuasion takes place. Your listeners are asking themselves, what's in this for me? Answer it. Don't make them guess
.
4. Tell more stories. Inspiring leaders tell memorable stories. Few business leaders appreciate the power of stories to connect with their audiences. A few weeks ago I was working with one of the largest producers of organic food in the country. I can't recall most, if any, of the data they used to prove organic is better. But I remember a story a farmer told. He said when he worked for a conventional grower, his kids could not hug him at the end of the day when he got home. His clothes had to be removed and disinfected. Now, his kids can hug him as soon as he walks off the field. No amount of data can replace that story. And now guess what I think about when I see the organic section in my local grocery store? You got it. The farmer's story. Stories connect with people on an emotional level. Tell more of them.
5. Invite participation. Inspiring leaders bring employees, customers, and colleagues into the process of building the company or service. This is especially important when trying to motivate young people. The command and control way of managing is over. Instead, today's managers solicit input, listen for feedback, and actively incorporate what they hear. Employees want more than a paycheck. They want to know that their work is adding up to something meaningful.
6. Reinforce an optimistic outlook. Inspiring leaders speak of a better future. Robert Noyce, the co-founder of Intel, said,
"Optimism is an essential ingredient of innovation. How else can the individual favor change over security?"
Extraordinary leaders throughout history have been more optimistic than the average person. Winston Churchill exuded hope and confidence in the darkest days of World War II. Colin Powell said that optimism was the secret behind Ronald Reagan's charisma. Powell also said that optimism is a force multiplier, meaning it has a ripple effect throughout an organization. Speak in positive, optimistic language. Be a beacon of hope.
7. Encourage potential. Inspiring leaders praise people and invest in them emotionally. Richard Branson has said that when you praise people they flourish; criticize them and they shrivel up. Praise is the easiest way to connect with people. When people receive genuine praise, their doubt diminishes and their spirits soar. Encourage people and they'll walk through walls for you.
By inspiring your listeners, you become the kind of person people want to be around. Customers will want to do business with you, employees will want to work with you, and investors will want to back you. It all starts with mastering the language of motivation.
"Excellence"-A drive from Inside & not outside
Here is something with the similar spirit for all of us to ponder.
Excellence...A drive from insie & not outside......
A German once visited a temple under construction where he saw a sculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby. Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two statues of the same idol?" "No," said the sculptor without looking up, "We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage." The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage. "Where is the damage?" he asked. "There is a scratch on the nose of the idol." said the sculptor, still busy with his work. "Where are you going to install the idol?"
The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high.. "If the idol is that far, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?" the gentleman asked.
The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said,
"I will know it."
The desire to excel is exclusive of the fact whether someone else appreciates it or not. "Excellence" is a drive from inside, not outside. Excellence is not for someone else to notice but for your own satisfaction and efficiency...
Be honest to yourself, Dont be honest for sake of others

Some Finer Qualities of Leadership
Some of the Finer Qualities of Leadership.........................................................
Do you have it in you?.
.
“A leader doesn’t just order things;
he does it so that others can do it.
He doesn’t create followers.
A good leader creates leaders.”.
The first major aspect of good leadership is letting go of control. Are you in control
when you’re sleeping or when you’re dreaming? No! .
Are you in control of any other function in your body?
.
Your heart is pumping all by itself. Your liver functions by
itself. The food you stuff in the stomach gets digested all by itself. Do you have any control over them? .
Are you in control of the Sun and Moon moving around the globe
or even the globe rotating on itself?.
Are you in control of the thoughts that come into your head?
.
So, when you realise you really do not have any control over all major things that are happening in your life, you’ll stand up and laugh.
“Oh, what am I thinking,am I in control of something?” Then you will realise that the idea that you are in control is an illusion.
And then you relax. And that relaxed state is called surrender. What is surrender? A state of mind, where you are absolutely at home, totally relaxed — with no fear, anxiety, burden or problem. That state is called surrender.
Surrender is our very nature; you don’t have to do it. When you are in your natural state of childlike innocence, you are already in a state of surrender. When you cannot surrender, then you make effort, and effort makes you surrender. So when you say, “I cannot relax”, I will say, “Ok, hold your fists tight and tight and tight.” Then, when I ask you to make it tighter and you cannot do that,
What do you do?
Being tired, you just drop. This is coming to the other end with effort!
For a leader, it is also important to be in the present moment. So, what are the qualities of good leadership?
How can you be a dynamic, confident and enthusiastic leader?
The first quality of leadership is to set an example
A leader doesn’t just order things; he does it so that others can do it.
Second aspect is that
A leader takes good care of those whom he is leading.
Third aspect is that
He doesn’t create followers.
A good leader creates leaders. And then chain reaction happens. A leader should delegate responsibility.
The fourth quality is that
A leader does not depend on authority. He just does a thing, whether authority is invested or not. It comes by itself.
The fifth aspect of leadership is that
He does not worry about position. The respect that you gain through virtue is very different from the respect you gain through the position. The respect you get through a position is short-lived and temporary. But the respect that you gain just because of your smile, your attitude, your virtues are there with you all the time.
You may be a chairman of this committee, a president of that committee, or you are barrister here or governor of that state — these are all momentary, temporary. They come and they go.
And the respect you get because of this position is not genuine, it is not from the heart, it is not true. But the respect you gain because you are a nice person, is genuine, it lasts long. It is spontaneous.
The sixth quality is that
A leader is alert and when challenges come, he is not disturbed. A good leader is one who does not drop things when challenges appear.
The seventh quality of a good leader is
One who does not care for comfort, but who stretches himself beyond the comfort zone. Anything creative, dynamic and great can happen only when you stretch beyond your comfort zone where we are often struck. We think we cannot do something: just make an effort and put one step ahead, and you will find that that you are expanding your comfort zone.Creativity transcends your comfort zone. Or, when you step out of the comfort zone, your creativity comes on to play.
The eighth aspect is that
A leader should not mix head and heart. If you mix head and heart, you are in a mess!
When you have to work, you work with commitment and you live with your head. In life, in situations other than when you are working, listen to your heart.
The ninth quality of a good leader is that
He should be multi-dimensional and see from the other’s point of view. Put yourself in other person’s shoes, look from the other person’s point of view.
The tenth aspect is that
The leader doesn’t depend on one-sided information. When you get some news from one side, don’t take any decision or conclusion till you hear from the other side also. A leader should be a good and effective communicator.
The eleventh is that
A leader should have a direct approach.
The twelfth quality of a good leader is
Not to judge oneself. You have this tendency of judging yourself, “Am I good? I’m no good.” The self-judgment is an obstruction. Stop doing that. Don’t judge yourself. When you judge yourself, you are judging others also. Then you oscillate like a pendulum. If you feel you’re good, then you are saying that others are not so good.
So when you find that others are good, and then you feel that you are no good, you blame yourself. Judgment is very similar to self-blame and blaming others. We have to get out of this vicious circle of self-judgment. That is also the state of surrender. When you have surrendered to the Divine that means that you no longer judge yourself. Self-judgment is not necessary.
A child is so innocent, why?
Because the child doesn’t judge itself.
Do you have it in you?.

Hope-
Hope-Keep it ALIVE & IN TACT & work-It will work for you.
If you can look at the sunset and smile, then you still have hope.
If you can find beauty in the colors of a small flower, then you still have hope.
If you can find pleasure in the movement of a butterfly, then you still have hope.
If the smile of a child can still warm your heart, then you still have hope.
If you can see the good in other people, then you still have hope.
If the rain breaking on a roof top can still lull you to sleep, then you still have hope.
If the sight of a rainbow still makes you stop and stare in wonder, then you still have hope
If the soft fur of a favored pet still feels pleasant under your fingertips, then you still have hope.
If you meet new people with a trace of excitement and optimism, then you still have hope.
If you give people the benefit of a doubt, then you still have hope.
If you still offer your hand in friendship to others that have touched your life, then you still have hope.
If receiving an unexpected card or letter still brings a pleasant surprise, then you still have hope.
If the suffering of others still fills you with pain and frustration, then you still have hope.
If you refuse to let a friendship die, or accept that it must end, then you still have hope.
If you look forward to a time or place of quiet and reflection, then you still have hope.
If you still buy the ornaments, put up the Christmas tree or cook the turkey, then you still have hope.
If you still watch love stories or want the endings to be happy, then you still have hope.
If you can look to the past and smile, then you still have hope.
If, when faced with the bad, when told everything is futile, you can still look up and end the conversation with the phrase... "yeah....BUT.." then you still have hope.
Hope is such a marvelous thing. It bends, it twists, it sometimes hides, but rarely does it break. It sustains us when nothing else can. It gives us reason to continue and courage to move ahead, when we tell ourselves we'd rather give in.
Hope puts a smile on our face when the heart cannot manage.
Hope puts our feet on the path when our eyes cannot see it.
Hope moves us to act when our souls are confused of the direction.
Hope is a wonderful thing, something to be cherished and nurtured, and something that will refresh us in return. And it can be found in each of us, and it can bring light into the darkest of places.
&
Never lose hope.

Guru-Sishya (Master-disciple) Relationship
Creating the Golden Yoke (Guru-Sishya Relationship)
Each lineage has within it a nada of a different velocity of sound, varied in pitch and depth.
This is Hindu mysticism.
This is the magic of Hindu oneness.
This is sampradaya.
This is parampara.
This is what you have to do.
In the beginning, don't try to hear your nada. Try instead to hear your Guru's . You will know you are hearing Guru's nada not your own when it is slightly louder. This is nada-nadi shakti. This is your first siddhi. It will bring many good benefits into your life, smooth out the karmas, bringing you from future to future, keep you inspired and on the subtle path, strengthening your psychic protection, strengthening your personal force field and that of all the loved ones connected to you, whether they themselves hear nada or not.
There is a large religious movement in India whose one and only practice is to gaze at the founder's picture and to listen to the inner sound, which is the followers' connection to him and thus to the Divine in all. You are hearing the nada now, as you speak, that of your satguru, and that of innumerable rishis, and those beyond and beyond and beyond, to the beginning of time, for there has never been a time on this planet or any of the earths the same distance from other sun in our galaxy or any of the others when our Nandinatha Sampradaya has not existed. Nada is always present and within divine lineages of Sanatana Dharma, the eternal path, the eternal religion, the eternal truth, more advanced than modern science, but not conflicting in any way with the discoveries of science, as these good souls penetrate into Sanatana Dharma and unravel its mysteries.
There are advanced forms of communication and training that utilize these energy rays. Two people may be a continent apart, entirely separated from each other's odic, conscious and subconscious force fields, and still be subject to actinic mind communication. This has been called soul communication. It is possible because in the superconscious mind, where actinic rays exist, time and space are conceptually different.
In the evolutionary cycle, man eventually becomes conscious of the actinic force as it flows through the odic areas of the mind. On these rays, education comes from the inside of himself out to the conscious mind. A person going through such an experience feels he has tapped a higher, intuitive resource. Psychically seen, an intellect developed in this manner, rather than through mere sensory observation, has a golden appearance. The education of the mind's odic force field from its actinic source creates "golden yoke." It is the yoke of liberation, because in its exercise one penetrates to the very depths of the inner being.
In so doing, the inner awakening and knowledge brought forth from this superconscious realm registers on the odic force field of the conscious mind's intellect. It is known that sages have learned languages, mathematics and all flows of knowledge in meditation.
Now, we can lose this expanded consciousness, once it has been gained, by allowing ourselves to become identified again with the odic world. As soon as we stop making the effort to penetrate the actinic realms, the ordinary forces of attachment, fear and desire force in upon us. It then requires extra effort to balance the forces and penetrate the life-giving, light-giving regions in meditation. When this happens again, one has the experience of seeing light within the cranium, the friction of the actinic force permeating and lighting up the odic force field.
A guru-disciple relationship may be established on the actinic plane for years before a physical meeting and training takes place.
The study and unfoldment begins when one turns within himself, creating the irrevocable "golden yoke" and attuning himself to the same actinic ray of consciousness in which the guru functions.
Teachings can then be conveyed on these rays, as long as guru and disciple are in harmony.
By working with this golden yoke, one's karmic experiences are hastened, but at the same time they are encountered in a more orderly fashion.

Inspiration & Motivation....................................
"Inspiration & Motivation-It doesn't cost to spread these to others............
If you plant honesty, you will reap trust.
If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.
If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.
If you plant perseverance, you will reap victory.
If you plant consideration, you will reap harmony.
If you plant hard work, you will reap success.
If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.
If you plant openness, you will reap intimacy.
If you plant patience, you will reap improvements.
If you plant faith, you will reap miracles.
But
If you plant dishonesty, you will reap distrust.
If you plant selfishness, you will reap loneliness.
If you plant pride, you will reap destruction.
If you plant envy, you will reap trouble.
If you plant laziness, you will reap stagnation.
If you plant bitterness, you will reap isolation.
If you plant greed, you will reap loss.
If you plant gossip, you will reap enemies.
If you plant worries, you will reap wrinkles.
If you plant sin, you will reap guilt.
So be
careful what you plant now, It will determine what you will reap
tomorrow, The seeds you now scatter, Will make life worse or better,
your life or the ones who will come after. Yes, someday, you will enjoy
the fruits, or you will pay for the choices you plant today
Never take some one for granted,
Hold every person Close to your Heart and in high esteem.
Because
you might wake up one day and realise:-
That you have lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones."
Remember this always in life.
If you plant honesty, you will reap trust.
If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.
If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.
If you plant perseverance, you will reap victory.
If you plant consideration, you will reap harmony.

Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh! !!"
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating,
somewhere in the mountain:
"AAAhhhhhhhhhhh! !!"
Curious, the little boy yells: "Who are you?"
He receives the answer: "Who are you?"
And then the boy screams to the mountain: "You're Stupid"
The voice answers: "You're Stupid"
Frustrated at the response, the boy screams: "I Hate You"
He receives the answer: "I Hate You"
He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?"
The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention."
The man screams: "You are a champion!"
The voice answers: "You are a champion!"
The boy is surprised, but does not understand.
Then the father explains:
"People call this ECHO,
but
really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you
say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in the world, create
more love in your heart.
If you want people to respect you, respect them.

Hindu Dharma Sastras-Socila laws in Hinduism
Hindu Dharma Shastras – Social Laws in Hinduism.
In Hindu religion, Dharma Shastras are social laws that include the codes of conduct to be observed by individuals living in a society. Dharma Shastras are works by various sages of ancient India . The most famous and the most controversial Dharma Shastra is:-
The Manu Smirti.
Apart from Manu’s Dharma Shastra, there are 18 Dharma Shastras that are applicable in different periods of time.
A particular Dharma Shastra is applicable only during a Manvantara. A manvantara is the period of time or duration that a Manu (the archetypal human being) rules the entire creation. One Manvantara is 306,720,000 human years.
Apart from Manu, the other Dharma Shastras that are applicable in different periods are named after:-
1. Apastamba,
2. Bharadvaja,
3. Daksha,
4. Devala,
5. Samakha,
6. Vasishta,

Four Goals in life in Hinduism –
Dharma
Artha
Kama
Moksha
According to Hindu religion, man has four goals in life. Various Hindu scriptures define the four goals as Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. The four goals can be achieved only through Atma Jana (Self realization). Hindus believe that equal importance has to be given to the four goals.
Dharma:-
Is bit tricky to define as there is no exact English definition to it. It can be loosely termed as a righteous way of living or social obligations. Perhaps the best definition of Dharma was given by Swami Chinmayananda – a ‘the Law of Being’ meaning, ‘that which makes a thing or being what it is.’
Artha:-
Can be defined as economic, social and political achievements – making of money or generating wealth.
Kama
Can be defined as pleasurable pursuits including sexual and other enjoyments which are momentary. Fulfillment of desires.
Moksha
is spiritual liberation. Brahman realization.
For a balanced human life one has to give importance to the four goals. Giving too much importance to one particular goal will lead to imbalance. Getting stuck in one goal and ignoring other goals also leads to imbalance.
"All the four goals compliment each other."
One goal is also a guide to another goal. A person rooted in Dharma will clearly understand what is positive Kama and negative Kama (violence). He will understand the difference between positive wealth generation and greediness.
Dharma, Artha and Kama leads to Moksha – the final goal of each human being in Sanatana Dharma.

Power of Intention.......................
The 7 Laws of the "Power of Intention" from Dr. Wayne Dyer.
Dr. Wayne Dyer's in his book, The Power of Intention gave laws that defined the powers of intention as he saw it. Here goes the interpretation of these laws that Dr. Dyer outlined.
1.The first law of intention is to recognize the face of creativity.
Creativity in business is really about innovation and creating something from nothing using the power of your mind. Creativity is in you, whether you believe it or not.
2.The face of kindness is next. Any great power that can bring energy and thought into physical form must come out of kindness. In business, this is manifested with the power of positive thinking and an intent to do good. The law of reciprocity can only reward kind intentions.
3.The face of love conquers all, even in business. Think of this power of intention as the face of kindness exponentiation with the emotion of love. When you intend for your clients, vendors, employees and investors to grow and couple that with a lack of judgement, hate, anger or resentment - more of what you want or desire in the business
relationship can manifest itself without impediment.
4.The face of beauty is truth, honesty and a knowing that what "is" - is exactly as it should be. You can use this power by re-framing any negative thoughts you have towards others and replace them with an appreciate (a thankfulness attitude) towards them.
5.The face of expansion is next. This is the law and the power of spirit to help you expand your awareness of what is possible in your business life. Be open to the "knowings" that you have always had inside you that have quietly been guiding you. Listen to them. Whatever you think about expands and it is natural to expand. To deny this truth is to deny a part of your purpose here on Earth.
6.The face of unlimited abundance is one of the favourite laws that works in the power of intention or attraction. You were probably taught all of your life about limitations and about what is "not possible." Fortunately, this came from well-meaning people who believed in limitation and not abundance. This law does not require you to be intellectually perfect in order to receive the benefits. Believing in unlimited abundance has no downside, so why not take another look at your business life after you answer this question, "What if I could have it all?"
7.Lastly, the face of receptivity. The universal laws of intention are open to everyone and without any judgement. Consider the application of this principle is really about believing in yourself and your ability to be open to unlimited possibilities. Banish your doubts. Focus only on your positive intentions towards others and yourself to tap into this energy.
