THE IMPORTANCE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF ‘NINE’(9)

The number nine is an important one as it has significance relating to ancient traditions and heritage. It is also known as a fancy number in numerical and numerological term. Now let me analyze and give some details and information on NINE from the point of view of its significance for the benefit of the readers.

3. Nine divine nights (Navarathri): The nine nights of Goddess Devi constitute great religious festival all over India and in countries where Indians live. The festival commences on the new moon of Ashvini month and concludes with Mahanavami on the ninth lunar day of the bright half of the month.

The first three nights of festivities are dedicated to worship of Durga (Goddess
Of valor), the next three nights festivities are dedicated to worship of
Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth & prosperity) and the last three nights festivities are
Dedicated to worship Saraswathi (Goddess of knowledge and fine arts). Nine
Blissful nights to invoke Goddess Sri Durga, Sri Lakshmi &
Sri Saraswathi and seek their blessings for well being, knowledge, wisdom and
Prosperity.

4. Nine emotions: Emotions are basically used to bring out emotional expressions

Just think of yourb brain for a moment-If you don't use it properly to it's optimum level for its functions of learning,knowing,analyzing and discovering, it will loose its value,importanc and purpose.

He who is the cause of all and who enables all things to function according to their nature,who brings to maturity all that can be ripened,who, being, non-dual, rules over the whole universe and engages the gunas in their respective functions-He is concealed in the upanishads,the secret part of the vedas.Brahma knew him who can be known only from the evidence of the vedas. The Gods and seers of olden times who knew him became brahman and attained immortality.
