What did Lord Muruga taught Lord Shiva?.....Read to Realise.......GURU is Higher than LORD SHIVA.

What did Lord Muruga taught Lord Shiva?.....Read to Realise.......GURU is Higher than LORD SHIVA.

There are references in the Purnas, especially the Skanda purana about Lord Subrahmanya teaching Lord Shiva, His Father the meaning of OM.And it is known and said that the place where He is reported to have done the Upadesa is Swamymalai, near Kumbakonam,Tamil Nadu.

There is a story about Lord Karthikeya from the Puranas. When Karthikeya was a young child, His father, Lord Shiva asked him to go and receive education from Lord Brahma. So Karthikeya went to Lord Brahma and asked him, "Please tell me the meaning of Om".

Lord Brahma said, "First learn the alphabets! You are directly asking for the meaning of Om".

Karthikeya, said, "No, I want to know the highest knowledge first Om". Now Lord Brahma explained whatever he knew, . So Karthikeya said to Lord Brahma, "You do not know the meaning of Om, I will not study under you". And he went back to his father.

Lord Shiva asked Karthikeyaya, "What happened son? Lord Brahma is the Creator of the entire universe. You must learn from him".

Karthikeya replied, "Then you tell me, what is the meaning of Om?'

Lord Shiva smiled and said, "Even I don't know".

Karthikeya then said, "I will tell you because I know the meaning of Om".

"Then tell me the meaning since you know it", said Lord Shiva.

"I can't tell you like this. You have to give me the place of the Guru. Only if you put me on the pedestal of the Guru can I tell you", said Karthikeya.

Guru means he has to be on a higher position or platform. The teacher has to sit on a higher place and the student has to sit down and listen to him. How can Lord Shiva find a seat higher than Him, for He is the highest and greatest.

Lord Shiva lifted the young Karthikeya on to His shoulders.

And then in the ear of Lord Shiva, Karthikeya explained the meaning of the Pranava Mantra (Om). Karthikeya explained that the entire Creation is contained in Om.

The Trinity Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are contained in Om.The essence and also the secret of Om Lord Karthikeya narrated to Lord Shiva.

On hearing this, Goddess Parvati was overcome with joy. She said, "You have become a Guru (Swami) to my Lord (Natha)!"

Saying this she addressed her son as Swaminatha, and ever since Karthikeya also came to be known as Swaminatha.

So in this way, Lord Karthikeya assumed the position of the Guru and explained the meaning of Om to Lord Shiva by sitting on his shoulder. So the essence of the story is this The Guru Principle is placed even higher than Lord Shiva Himself! To explain this truth, this story was written in the Skanda Purana.

In some versions it is said that Lord Shiva offered the place where he does Yoga to Kartikeya and he himself sat on a lower seat.

There is a misconception that Kartikeya is only a wargod. It is not true. Kartikeya is the embodiment of highest knowledge. Jnanaswarupa.....Muruga Kartikeya Swaminatha.Muruga has come to possess a power that is unequalled. He is known as the epitome of knowledge. He is known as all powerful. He is known as the personification of beauty.

Traditional significance of margazhi month and special festivals....

Today is the first Dayof Margazhi Month

Traditional significance of margazhi month and special festivals....

Tamil Margazhi month.......winter season.....Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita says "Maasanam Margasheershoham" - among the twelve months, I am Margazhi. Now..........

Let us begin with singing First Pasuram of
Thirupavai...understanding its meaning.

"Margazhi thingal madhi niraindha nannalal
Nirada podhuvir, podhu mino neridaiyeer
Seermalgum aayppadi ch chelva chirumeergal
Koorvel kodunthozhilan nandagopan kumaran
Erarndha kannni yasodhai ilan singam
Karmeni chengann kadir madiyam pol mugathan
Narayanane namakke parai tharuvan
Paror pugazha p padinthelor empavai."

It is Margali month, moon replete and the day is proper
We shall bathe, girls of Ayarpadi prosperous
Will you move out? You wealthy adorn'd fine jewels;
Narayana, son of relentless Nandagopala,
Whose job wielding a sharp spike ever alert and
The lion cub of Yasoda with eye gracious
And the lad with dark complexion, handsome eye
And face sunny bright pleasant as moon
Sure shall grant us the desire soon
To the esteem of this earth as a boon;
Oblige, involve, listen and consider, our damsel.

He named her as “Goda” ....meaning “gift of god”.

She composed pasurams(30 songs) or 30 on the month of margazhi.obviously, the first song starts as “margazhi thingal”very famous song in margazhi month, devotees chanting this song while making poojas. She penance herself and made pavai nombu to get married Lord Vishnu.

She is only women alvar among twelve alvar in vaishnavism. Vishnucitta brought her up as lovable women that’s make her to fall love in Lord Vishnu.

Marriage Determination of Andal.

Andal’s determination to marry Lord Vishnu was accepted. Everyday, she would make a garland to wear herself then she wear to Lord Vishnu as repeated activity. Vishnucitta watched her attitude, that day he got one vision from Lord Vishnu,Lord Vishnu told that he was accepted her offering(garland) after that only Goda called as Andal.

Where and what are you?....Please contemplate on this!!!!!

Where and what are you?....Please contemplate on this!!!!!

Casually without questioning you assume your self-identity. But where are you in you? There are one lakh trillion bacteria living in you, but no single bacterium can claim to be you. And all of them are desperately fighting the poison oxygen to survive. They all want deliverance from this continuous deadly struggle to survive. Their struggle is our living. For them you are the arrangement or their scientific invention to survive from oxygen. They must all be fervently praying for a God that removes oxygen completely. Then your usefulness to them will be over and the end of their struggle is your permanent death, as specie.

If only you develop the capacity of seeing those tiny fighters in and on you, you will find the trillions of them in their fervent activity living their anaerobic life in you. Anaerobes are organisms to which oxygen is poison. You cannot identify yourself as a 3Dimensional entity. You cannot locate yourself, as in reality you are not present apart from them......And you have become the economic man whose economic or daily life is in reality the reduction of oxygen continuosly, the work that helps the anaerobes.

If you develop the capacity to see the ultimate micro, you find energies and sub atomic forces, dancing to the tunes of conscious notice in a vacuum, a vacuum which became vacuum because the matter in it achieved the speed of light and so became the infinity, because of the spread of volume, into infinity. A conscious force created islands where the speed is less than the speed of light and so initiated the creation of atoms, molecules, matter, planets, stars, and galaxies---the same consciousness responsible for your living. Now what is your self-identity? If you can see everything covering the quarks, leptons etc, then you cannot find yourself.
So just sing and try to tune with the cosmic compositions and tunes of Tyagaraja, Shyamasasthri, Annamacharya, Muthiswamy Deekshithar, swathi Thirunal, Purandara Dasar &........so on......

The importance of......CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ANY BUSINESS........

The importance of......CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ANY BUSINESS........

The famous saying goes “it takes years to build a reputation but just moments to ruin it.” This quote effectively addresses the importance of keeping a customer happy and satisfied. Customer service is a term that you might have come across often while purchasing a product or even while promoting a product. Since customer service and the success of a business are codependent, businesses are now focusing more on delivering excellent service to their customers. Customer service is the way a business is able to serve a customer, which indirectly reflects your brands values.

Research suggests that around 60% of organizations consider customer service as the top most priority for their businesses. It is an eye opener that well established brands give way more importance to customer service, because they know what it is like to have a happy customer to your brand. What is your definition of customer service?

With time the focus of businesses has shifted to customer service. Businesses go out of the way to hire the right people for their customer service team, people who are skilled with the ability to handle and help customers. Although the meaning of customer service can vary from the nature and domain of businesses in which they are dealing with, the main motive of customer service is how easily you are able to solve a problem related with your product/services to ease out your customer’s burden. A brilliant example of this is Amazon go, a shopping mart without a checkout counter. Amazon go, with the help of artificial intelligence has made the shopping experience much more easier for its customers, wherein everything is technology driven, and customers are saved from the waiting queues at the checkout. Amazon has given a whole new meaning to customer service, where your customers are at ease, and have been saved from the long queues of checkout.

How important is customer service for a business? Marketing of a business was initially based on brand promotion and improving the brand quality and the services. Having a group of customers that are happy and satisfied with your products is like having top rating for your business.

Here is how customer service can positively effect your business:

Deal with Complaints....

One of the best things you can do as a businessman or marketer is value negative feedback. Dealing with complaints is not easy, but you must understand that responding to these complaints and feedback positively is imperative. Leverage negative comments and feedback to improve your products and services. Offer sincere apologies to people who are disappointed or unhappy with your service and promise to do better in the future. The first rule of customer service is to accept that the customer is king indeed.

Maintain Brand Reputation.....

Maintaining your brand reputation is essential for businesses and brands of all natures. As a marketer, your duty does not end once you have made a sale. Instead, that’s the point in the process when your business must pay attention to customer satisfaction and trouble free journey for your customers. A happy and satisfied customer adds a huge value to your brand and is very likely to return to your brand. Maintaining your brand reputation by engaging with your audience, making them aware of your ethics, values and history will help you win more customers in the future while retaining your existing customer base.

Speaks Volumes for your Business.....

Brands that value customer satisfaction and happiness are considered superior. How your brand deals with your customers’ complaints or feedback speaks volumes about your brand to your users and non-users both. The way you respond to a customer, the efficiency with which you solve a customer query, all of this reflects your brand values.

Whether a business is an SME or is an MNC, they all face the brunt of angry customers. But this is where customers make a notion about your business depending on how you handle the situation.

Higher Conversion Rate.....

The overall conversion rate of a business is effected by the type of service you offer to the customers. Hence it is vital in generating business for your brand. If at some point in time, your brand was unable to deliver good customer service, your customers might take to the Internet to rant and comment about your poor service. Chances are, your sales will come crashing down. Similarly, customer who are happy and satisfied with your service leave positive comments and feedback on your social media profiles, which has a positive effect on your sales.

Customer Retention......

Great customer service will result in maximum customer retention. Growing the existing customer base is as important as retaining the customers. A brand that has excellent customer strength, can easily retain the customers. With time the customers develop a sense of trust and retaining such customers becomes easy.

The way you deal with customers decides whether a customer is likely to use your brand again. Very often, this depends on the first experience that a customer had with your brand. Satisfaction of customers is important for a business, because only a satisfied customer will retain with a business.

Problem Solver.....

Every brand or business has something valuable to offer to their customers and it is mostly a solution to a problem. Customer service exists so that brands can engage with their customers in case of a problem. The purpose of customer service teams are to make sure customers are well educated about a product or service and are not facing any problems in the use of that particular product or service. A great way to provide excellent customer service is to give your customers tips, tricks, DIY techniques etc. For example, Nykaa, an online beauty brand, shares beauty DIY tips for its customers without the customers asking for it. This is enough for those passionate about beauty to cling to Nykaa.

To conclude, if you are a marketer or businessman, understanding the importance of customer service is essential for your brands success! Nothing is more important than keeping your customers happy and satisfied and the way to do this is by providing desirable and excellent customer care service.

Researchers Link Poor Sleep to Increased Falls!!!!

Researchers Link Poor Sleep to Increased Falls!!!!
Have you ever found it difficult to keep your balance after a poor night’s sleep? Have you ever experienced lots of near falls after a night of twisting and turning? Well, there is new research out there that could explain this phenomenon!
Researchers at the School of Engineering, in collaboration with Warwick Medical school, conducted a study demonstrating the relationship between poor, disrupted sleep and reduced posture and balance. They believe that a night of restless sleep affects our vision, a sense that plays a vital role in balance. Lead author Dr Leandro Pecchia claims that it is something we all experience from time to time. He says: “We all have direct experience of this.. When we do not sleep well, we may feel a little dizzy and our capability to control our posture and balance is somehow diminished.” However, he continues to explain that ageing already reduces these abilities, meaning poor sleep brings our balancing capabilities at these ages to the point of non-existence, increasing our risk of falls.
The study examined 20 healthy adults, between the ages of 28-34, over two days logging how much each adult slept and how this affected their balance. To monitor their sleep patterns, the participants wore sensors that kept track of their heart rate and balance while quiet standing through foot ‘ centre of pressure’ (COP) displacement, while at home, and sleep diaries, actigraphy and ‘heart rate variability’ (HRV) measures were used to asses sleep quality variations.
The foot centre of pressure is the point at which the pressure of the body over the soles of the feet would be if concentrated in one spot. If there are deviations this means reduced balance. Actigraphy is a method of monitoring human rest-activity cycles and heart rate variability is the phenomenon of variation in the time interval between heartbeats. All these measures taken into account, the researches found that reduced quality and quantity of sleep (shorter sleep time, more disturbances, increased activity and decreased HRV), led to significant changes in balance. Participants who did not undergo a decrease in sleep quantity and quality did not experience a reduction in balance abilities.
What does this mean?
The results of the study showed that reduced quality of sleep over consecutive days may affect balance. This means that those who sleep poorly are prone to more falls, especially the elderly. These results could also help us understand in-hospital falls. Dr. Leandro Pecchia explains, “hospitalized older patients find themselves in a frail condition, sleeping in an unfamiliar environment, with unusual nocturnal light and noises from other patients and nurses, and perhaps being administered more than one drug. Waking up to go to the toilet can be more challenging than we can imagine.” Placing these elderly adults in an unfamiliar setting which is not cohesive to sleep and then expecting them to get around on their own is not only wrong but also dangerous. He goes on to say that a solution to this would be to learn to use technology capable of early detection in sleep changes, thereby increasing the ability to prevent or avoid falls that may occur the next day.
Conclusion.
We all know the importance of getting a good night’s sleep, however, now we know that inadequate sleep can really be dangerous. Therefore, it is important that you get a good night’s sleep and you can learn how to do just that with this little secret.
