- GAYATRI MANTRA.............READ THIS.....RECITE THE MANTRA......REALIZE IT............."AUM"Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥtát savitúr váreṇyaṃbhárgo devásya dhīmahidhíyo yó naḥ pracodáyātMeaning of Gayatri MantraAum = Brahma ; bhoor = embodiment of vital spiritual energy(pran) ; bhuwah = destroyer of sufferings ; swaha = embodiment of happiness ; tat = that ; savitur = bright like sun ; varenyam = best choicest ; bhargo = destroyer of sins ; devasya = divine ; dheemahi = may imbibe, pertains to meditation ; dhiyo = intellect ; yo = who ; naha = our ; prachodayat = may inspire!Gayatri is not the name of the mantra as such. It is the measurement. Any mantra set in the CHANDAS of Gayatri is called Gayatri mantra and chandas is a measure, and the one that is popularly known today As Gayatri mantra, is actually Savitri Mantra set in Gayatri chandas. The “Gayatri” chandas itself got its form from the Gayatri mantra. It is said that when the Gayatri mantra was revealed it was a chandas which was not known before, and that new Vedic meter was named with the name of the name of the mantra itself. In Vedas there are many other mantras which are in the Gayatri chandas (Vedic meter). This is one of the first mantras we are introduced to as children. This is also one of the most powerful and significant mantra in Hinduism. It roughly translates to “May the divine light of the Supreme Being illuminate our intellect, to lead us along a path of righteousness”. The effects of chanting the Gayatri mantra are immense. It purifies the spirit of the chanter and also those who are in the vicinity; they are also benefited by the positive vibrations of the gayatri mantra. In certain translations, Gaya is referred to as the vital source of energy and tray ate which is the protective energy of the earth to liberate people from ignorance.Gayatri Devi is the incarnation of shakti who embodies virtue, peace, purity and wisdom. In this form she receives the blessing of Lord Brahma and she is believed to have given the four Vedas to mankind. This is considered to be false by many Hindus as the Gayatri mantra has nothing to do with a singular goddess or god. It is a prayer to the formless, omnipresent ishwara (the supreme power). The Gayatri mantra present in the rig Veda was not written very lightly. It has a Vedic metre of 24 syllables. The Gayatri mantra was present in the rig Veda which originated in the Vedic age almost 3000 years ago. It is speculated that the Gayatri mantra could have been existent several centuries ahead of that time. The sages of ancient times selected the words of the Gayatri carefully and arranged them so that they not only convey meaning but also create very specific vibrations and powers of righteous wisdom through their utterance.Often in search of religious and spiritual meaning we tend to ignore the scientific basis for it; the gayatri mantra has a perfect scientific explanation too. The earth(bhur), the planets(bhuva) ,and the galaxies(swah) , are moving at a great velocity, the sound produced is Om ,(the name of formless God.) That God (tat), who manifests Himself in the form of light of suns (savitur) is worthy of bowing/respect( varenyam) . We all, therefore, should meditate (dheemahi) upon the the light(bhargo) of that deity(devasya) and also do chanting of Om. May He (yo) guide in right direction(prachoday at) our (nah) intellect(dhiyo).Chanting the Gayatri MantraThere are three specific times in a day when the Gayatri Mantra should be chanted. The three times of a day is also known as Sandhyakal. The first time is before sunrise. The mantra should then be chanted till the sun rises. The second time to chant this mantra in the day is afternoon time. And the third time to chant Gayatri Mantra is before sun set till the sun sets. Apart from these timings, if someone wishes to chant this mantra, he/she should do it silently and at calm from mind. This mantra should not be chanted with loud voice. There is a huge misconception that women shouldn’t be allowed to recite the Gayatri mantra as it affects their biological cycle. There is no truth in that statement. No Vedic knowledge is barred to any human on the basis of caste, creed or gender. Women have been given an equal spiritual status since times early and anything that puts them down today is all man-made. Before the eyes of god , we are all one. There is another speculation about the Gayatri mantra. It has to be learnt via a proper guru. The Vedas are not for the lay man. Obviously the Vedas demand a certain respect and disciplinary code, it is always good to understand Vedas from knowledgeable persons. But in absence of them, Ishwar is the ultimate guru and presence of any agent between soul and Ishwar is completely unnecessary.“Even fools, criminals and men with unstable minds are able to attain enlightenment by the power of Gayatri. When that is so, then the worship of Gayatri by the firm and pure minded persons will surely lead them to self knowledge and self-realization.”— Sage VashishthaThere is a theory in thermodynamics which explains why perpetual machines do not work – The process of energy conversion is not enough to give any significant output. This can be overcome by focusing the energy in eliminating these inefficiencies. Similarly if human beings put their effort towards god, we might receive his blessings more. After a point the person attains salvation. The more we direct our attention to the study of source of our knowledge – the Vedas – more the bliss we shall obtain for humanity.Benefits of Chanting the Gayatri MantraThese are some of the outcomes of the Gayatri mantraEradication of fear and ignorance in the minds of the people.Renewed sense of happiness and fervor.Prioritizing your work and tasks.Thinking and planning out of the box. Increased creative capacity. And above allThe ability to appreciate the peacefulness of the immediate surroundings and the world.Another interesting fact about the Vedas is that they are not prayers for personal wellbeing but for the well being of the society. So the Gayatri mantra also prays for divine blessings for all. This feature of “idanna mama “ which meaning it’s nothing personal is echoed throughout all Vedic mantras.“Japa of Gayatri brings the same fruit as the recitation of all the four Vedas together with the Angas. It is the Mantra of the Vedas. It destroys sins. It bestows splendid health, beauty, strength, vigor, vitality and magnetic aura in the face (Brahmic effulgence).”— Swami SivanandaThe Gayatri mantra should not be ignored as religious mantras. The pretext of this mantra is completely scientific and is required for all human beings to connect with the divine and rejuvenate themselves.J.KANNAN, M.Com, FIATA"WE DON'T THINK TO BREATHEWE BREATHE TO THINK"

Abhirami. Bhattar and Abhirami Andhathi........A comparison.............
To Surrender unto my Mother................
Abhirami Andhathi.......While all the 100 stanzas are equally important in Abirami Andhathi composed by..........ABHIRAMI BATTAR............which is widely regarded as one of the foremost works of modern Tamil literature stanzas 13 & 69 are most touching stanzas......&.....Now about Abhirami Bhattar..................
Abhirami Pattar (original name Subramaniya Iyer) (late 1700s - early 1800s) was a semi-legendary Hindu saint from the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
He is famed as the author of a collection of hymns called Abhirami Anthadhi which is widely regarded as one of the foremost works of Tamil literature.
Subramaniya Iyer was born to one Amirthalinga Iyer in the village of Tirukkadaiyur. Tirukkadaiyur was one of the agraharams established by the Maratha ruler Serfoji I, a great admirer of Brahmin poets and bards, in the early part of the 18th century. The village was famous for its temple to Lord Shiva. Right from his childhood, Subramaniya Iyer was drawn to the temple and the Goddess.
As he grew Subramaniya Iyer developed a fanatical devotion to Goddess Abhirami. He would sit in a corner of the temple meditating upon the Goddess and singing her praise. As time passed, he was forever immersed in meditation upon the Goddess that he began to observe the supposed likeliness of the Goddess in the persona of the women around him and often showered them with flowers. According to sources, soon, a particular section of the populace began to regard him as a madman.
One day, Raja Serfoji, the Maratha Raja of Thanjavur who ruled over the land, visited the temple to pay homage to Lord Shiva. On noticing the peculiar behavior of Subramaniya Iyer who was a temple priest, he inquired the other priests about the individual. One of them remarked that he was a madman while another rejected this categorization explaining to the king that Subramaniya Iyer was only an ardent devotee of Goddess Abhirami. Seeking to know the truth himself, Serfoji approached the priest and asked him what day of the month it was i.e. whether it was a full-moon day or a new-moon day. Subramaniya Iyer who could see nothing else but the shining luminant form of the Goddess before him wrongly answered that it was a full-moon day while it was in fact a new-moon day. The king rode off informing the former that he would have his head cut off if the moon did not appear on the sky by six in the night.
Immediately realizing his mistake, Subramaniya Iyer supposedly lit a huge fire and erected a platform over it supported by a hundred ropes. He sat upon the platform and prayed to the Goddess Abhirami to save him. He cut off one rope after another in succession on completion of each verse of his prayer. These hymns form the Abhirami Anthadhi. On completion of the 79th hymn, the Goddess Abhirami manifested herself before him and threw her earring over the sky such that it shone with bright light upon the horizon. Overcome with ecstasy, Subramaniya Iyer composed 22 more verses in praise of the Goddess.
The king repented his mistake and immediately cancelled the punishment he had awarded Subramaniya Iyer. He also bestowed upon the latter the title of "Abirami Pattar" or "priest of Goddess Abhirami" and supposedly awarded his successors the privilege of using the title "Bharathi".
Abhirami Bhattar's Andati [100 verses Tamil prayer] is a delightful work. It is too good chanting it at least on Tuesdays and Fridays....if not on all days. Each verse is full of Sakta advaitic meaning. He says Mother is Primordial. Without Her, even Siva is Savam, corpse. She is the Suddha Maya who will confer the kaivalyam for Sivahood.
In verse (13) Bhattar says..............:
To Surrender unto my Mother.................ABHIRAMI.......
Poothavale bhuvanam padhinangaiyum pooththa vannam
Kaaththavale pin karandhavale karaikkandanukku
Mooththavale endrum moova mugundharkku ilaiyavale

Maaththavale unnai andri matror deivam vandhippadhe
Translation.............
Hey Abhirami! Thee Bloom of self-determination
Made the fourteen worlds desired by you,
Playing guardianship parallel
Blessing the same by consuming back
Ancestor to my Lord with poison retained throat
Younger to the evergreen protector blue tinted,
Embodiment of great penance
Where is the need for another God when you are there?
Made the fourteen worlds desired by you,
Playing guardianship parallel
Blessing the same by consuming back
Ancestor to my Lord with poison retained throat
Younger to the evergreen protector blue tinted,
Embodiment of great penance
Where is the need for another God when you are there?
Simple Meaning..............
Abhirami is the mother of fourteen worlds; She is the preserver of those worlds also; She absorbed the same in Her; elder to Sadasivan who took poison; younger sister to the youthful Vishnu; Leader of great penance; where is the need for another God when you are there?
You are the eldest. You constitute, protect and destroy the 14 worlds. You are even elder to Siva with halahala in His throat.
But you are younger to Mukunda, who never gets old. You are attained only through constant meditation and contemplation.
There is no God apart from you, how can I pray to other gods?
and suffer in this world without retribution?
But you are younger to Mukunda, who never gets old. You are attained only through constant meditation and contemplation.

Devotees of Abhirami who exhibits thick locks of hair resembling dark clouds, shall get the following by the mere grace of the corners of Her eyes:
Riches, education, tireless mind, divine form, relatives without malevolence and everything good.
Riches, education, tireless mind, divine form, relatives without malevolence and everything good.
In the slogan 12 it was told that Abhirami is the mother of seven worlds; here in 13 it is indicated that Abhirami is the mother of fourteen worlds. Hindu mythology defines fourteen worlds (not to be confused with planets) - seven higher worlds (heavens) and seven lower ones (hells) . (The earth is considered the lowest of the seven higher worlds.) All the worlds except the earth are used as temporary places of stay as follows:
upon one's death on earth, the God of death (officially called 'Yama Dharma Raajaa' - Yama, the lord of justice) tallies the person's good/bad deeds while on earth and decides if the soul goes to heaven and/or hell, for how long, and in what capacity. Some versions of the mythology state that good and bad deeds neutralize each other and the soul therefore spends time in either a heaven or a hell, but not both, whereas according to another school of thought, the good and bad deeds don't cancel out each other. In either case, the soul acquires a body as appropriate to the worlds it enters. At the end of the soul's time in those worlds, it returns to the earth (is reborn as a life form on the earth) . It is considered that only from the earth, and only after a human life, can the soul reach supreme salvation, the state free from the cycle of birth and death and the place beyond the fourteen worlds where the eternal god lives.

Conventional education makes independent thinking extremely difficult. Conformity leads to mediocrity. To be different from the group or to resist environment is not easy and is often risky as long as we worship success. The urge to be successful, which is the pursuit of reward whether in the material or the in the so-called spiritual sphere, the search for inward or outward security, the desire for comfort - this whole process smothers discontent, puts an end to spontaneity and breeds fear; and fear blocks the intelligent understanding of life. With increasing age, dullness of mind and heart sets in.
There is a couplet from Thirukkural written by Thiruvalluvar that says...........
Vaiyaththtul vazhvaangu vaazhbhavan vaanuraiyum
Dheivaththul vaikkappadum
Dheivaththul vaikkappadum
This means that he/she who lives properly on this earth shall be placed among Gods......
Strange is our situation here upon earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: That we are here for the sake of others...for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day, please realize how much your outer and inner life is built upon the labors of people, both living and dead, and how earnestly you must exert yourself in order to give in return as much as you have received.
As long as we want our children to be powerful, to have bigger and better positions, to become more and more successful, there is no love in our hearts; for the worship of success encourages conflict and misery. To love one’s children is to be in complete communion with them; it is to see that they have the kind of education that will help them to be sensitive, intelligent and integrated.
So Abhirami by Her mere slight look can bless Her child with money, then education that can control the money, then the courage to enter into actions; these above possessions will give a Godly look to the child as he becomes an icon for fellow human-beings; once this is reached all the near and dear will become devoid of narrow mindedness which even if present gets dissolved in the divine brilliance of the devotee.............&...........
if this stage is achieved is it essential to say that Abhirami’s eyes will always grant all good things to Her child?
Abhirami Bhattar says in his Verse 99 of Andati:............
kuyilaay irukkum kadampaadaviyidai; kOla viyan
mayilaay irukkum imayaachalaththidai; vandhu udhiththa
veyilaay irukkum vichumbil; kamalaththinmeethu annam am;

veyilaay irukkum vichumbil; kamalaththinmeethu annam am;
kayilaayarukku anRu imavaan aLiththa kanankuzhaiyE
You are like a koel [cuckoo] in Kadamba vanam.
The Kadamba Vanam is Madurai, which in those days had full of kadamba trees [kadamba - Jampaka tree, with flowers of high fragrance]......
Why should she be like a koel there? She is Meenkashi, daughter of Malayatvaja Pandyan and Kanchana Mala. She is the princess of the kingdom. She is waiting for Siva to come and marry her. So during those days before the wedding, she is always singing like a koel, the glory of Siva!
You are a beautiful peacock in Himachala! How come, she is a peacock, which does not sing in Himachala?
The Mahapurusha Siva had come and saw Meenkashi and said......, I love to marry her! Please arrange!" The king and the queen made all arrangements and the wedding took place in Madurai. [There is a story that Vishnu came from Sri Rangam to give the hands of his sister to Siva]. Siva brought only one guest to the wedding. He is Gundothara, the fattest member of Siva retinue. The king and queen were worried how tons of food items that had been prepared would be spent. Gundothara was served. He took all the food, without anything remaining. He then started eating even the vegetables and provisions that were in store of the palace. He took all the fruits and even unripe fruits! Then he cried, "I am thirsty, water, water..." All the water stock of the palace was drunk by him and still his thirst was not fully quenched. Then they took him to Vaigai river itself. He consumed all the waters of Vaigai river and made it dry. Meenkashi saw all these and kept mum. She took the hands of Siva and then proceeded to Himalayas. She now knew that no singing would be necessary. What is necessary for Siva and his retinue is sumptuous food everyday. So she prepared them every day and just loved to see them eating everything. Then she simply danced like a peacock without words. No more singing. Only hard work and then dance in front of Siva!
You are the hot Sun in Akasa Kshetram, i.e Chidambaram
Why she is like the hot sun in Chidambaram? There was dance competion. Siva danced and danced and Sivakami could not compete with Him. She became angry and appeared like a hot sun in Chidambaram, owing to her defeat!
You are the Swan in Kamalalayam, Tiruvarur
Why she is like a cute silent white swan in Tiruvarur? This fellow has beaten me in the dance competition. Now I shall see that His legs are getting tired with walking up and down to Paravai Nachiyar's house! Paravai Nachiyar had a quarrel with her husband Sundarmurty Swamigal. Sundarmurty asked Siva to go as a mediatator. Siva once went to Paravi's house. She did not care. Second time, Siva went in His Form with His retinue. Paravai knew that it was Siva and Siva is Sundaramurty's friend. So she opened the door and after talking to Siva, she reconciled. Meenkashi was watching all this 'fun' as a cool white swan in Tiruvarur. "Let His legs ache with these frequent walking up and down. Have not the same legs defeated me in the dance competition in Chidambaram? Now let Him have the punishment. I shall keep cool."
Oh You are the ear ring that was presented by Himavan to your husband?
What does it mean? Ear ring or "Kuzhai" in Tamizh is what a man would wear those days. The woman would wear what is called ear stud or "thodu". Himavan gave this kuzhai to Siva and He became an Ardhanari, {Arunachala Principle, ref. Verse 1 of Navamani malai}. Half woman and Half man, wearing thodu and kuzhai!
Now what is the esoteric meaning of this verse? 99?
First we sing Siva's glory like a koel, as a devotee. Then we go near Him and keep mum and simply dance in His presnce, like a peacock. Whenever our sadhana gets disturbed, we get angry with self pity, be hot like a sun. When the Sadhana is complete, we keep cool like a swan and watch the errands done by our Master, for our sake. Or be in the Sayujyam, Sivahood, like a cool milky white swan, the Suddha Sattva state.
Aum Namasivaya.

And today I stand alone at the doorway of the room. The beds are empty. All the cupboards have only a few pieces of clothes in them. And what remains is the smell of perfume that lingers in the air.
Everyone had a special smell. So I take in the smell of their perfume for maybe it will fill the empty ache in my heart.
All I have now is the memory of their laughs and their mischief and their warm hugs.
All I have now is the memory of their laughs and their mischief and their warm hugs.
Today my house is clean and organised and everything is in its place, and it is calm and peaceful. But it is like a desert with no life in it. Do not become angry with your kids about the mess.
Every time they come to visit and they spend time with us,
when they are ready to leave. They pull their bags and it is as if they tug my heart along with it.

WE BREATHE TO THINK"
Emotional Relationship-Vs-Analytical Relationship..........
Emotional Relationship-Vs-Analytical Relationship..........
Emotions and Breathing are very closely related and entangled. Breathing creates smelling. Smelling creates sensing. Sensing creates internal communication within one’s body. The internal communication within the body or the communication among the cells in the body is the hormonal system. A hormone is simply the instruction to the cells or specific cells to act in a particular manner, mainly by the seat of emotions-the Amygdala. The Hormones travel to the cells via the blood stream. The hormonal action thus depends on the quality of breathing. A lush environment blooming with flora and fauna creates very healthy air and as a result the breathing will be energizing and spirited. Unhealthy and polluted air creates hormonal confusion, uncertainty, indecision and cowardice, creating a dis-spirited life.
THE QUALITY OF A PEOPLE ULTIMATELY DEPENDS ON THE QUALITY OF THE AIR THEY BREATHE.
When the air is poisoned, the capacity for automatic symbiotic decision with the environment gets corroded. Polluted air creates cowards. Cowards always
discuss,discuss,discuss...,never decide or take back the decision, or half implement the decision or misinterpret the decision, the discussions are always attempts to drown the other’s voice and spend the leisure in regrets or in revengeful thoughts or simply in day dreaming. Emotions are not for decisions to them but only for angry outbursts. They store the anger.
discuss,discuss,discuss...,never decide or take back the decision, or half implement the decision or misinterpret the decision, the discussions are always attempts to drown the other’s voice and spend the leisure in regrets or in revengeful thoughts or simply in day dreaming. Emotions are not for decisions to them but only for angry outbursts. They store the anger.
Those that live in lush flora and fauna and use the air for correct breathing by yoga can take decisions very easily and calmly, because it is not the individual but the energizing air or spirit that propels the decision. The air or spirit creates corrections, changes..., never regrets or abandonment or abortion. The entire troposphere is deciding, not the individual.
THE INDIVIDUAL ESTABLISHES THE BREATHE BASED, OR SPIRIT BASED EMOTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS, FEELINGS AS UNDERSTANDINGS, ALWAYS PARTICIPATING PHYSICALLY, OFTEN TOUCHING PHYSICALLY ALMOST LIKE CHILDREN CUDDLING THE PARENTS.
Unfortunately when the air is poisoned, the environment becomes the big enemy. People cannot and do not take decisions. Machines and computers decide for them. The environment and the society become the adversaries; the politicians always brew separatist poisons (the latest, a separate flag for Kannada Nadu).
Analysis is the dissection of an organism into separate parts like a machine which is disassembled. After all what is destruction? Matter gets broken into pieces. The pieces get further broken into molecules. The molecules get broken into atoms...., the atoms into sub-atomic particles via a big atom bomb. Negativism on the other hand brings unending analysis. There is something fundamentally wrong with analysis. The basic paradigm behind analysis is that an effect has only an identifiable cause. In reality there are only clusters of causes, and there is simply no specific identifiable cause. The Universe is Holistic and not Cartesian. It is uni or one, always unity---the Universe, the one single poem.

Hiranyagarbha Garbastham Hemabhijam Vibhavaso!!!
Hiranyagarbha Garbastham Hemabhijam Vibhavaso!!! What does it mean...You must Know & Read to Know...
HIRANYAGARBHA
"Among many beliefs about the beginning of the universe is the mysterious Hiranyagarbha, literally the 'golden egg.' In the Rig Veda, there is a segment in praise of the Hiranyagarbha Suktha, a single supreme creator, and the Upanishads mentions the Golden egg floating in space. Hindu literature is full of references to Hiranyagarbha."
Hiranyagarbha Garbastham Hemabhijam Vibhavaso | Ananthapunya Phaladham Agasanthim Prayachame ||
"ACHARYAYE DHUBYAMAHAM SAMPRATATE NAMAHA...NAMAMA."
Meaning .............
"This seed of gold from the womb of the Almighty, grant infinite virtuous effects to me, quelling all sins". "This is being handed to your goodselves the teacher, with humility".
Thus......It is clear therefore from the above.......
1. Whatever I give you is the property of Almighty only. I am only a trustee handing over.
2. What I give is only a small bit and that bit let it be a seed for the infinite results to me, to you.
It thus exhibits, humility, detachment, gratitude, prayer everything of the giver while making a dakshina!
To offer Dakshina for the services rendered in certain celebrations/functions we chant this sloka place the dakshina on a plate with betel leaves, betel nuts, a couple of bananas, pour an udharani of water from the panchapathram:
"Hiranya garbha garbhastam hemabeejam vibhavaso Anantha punya phaladam adha santim prayachamee"
How many grihasthas understand the meaning?
This is the mantra used by the grihasthas for giving the dakshisna to the Acharyas/Gurus/Pandits/learned to request them to accept the Dakshina in order to get the full blessings of God for the work they did.
Here the Hiranya Garba refers to the creator. Hiranyagarbha, meaning the golden womb, is the source of the creation of the universe.
According to Hinduism and the Puranas, Hiraṇyagarbha is the term used in the Vedanta for the "creator". Hiraṇyagarbha is also a name for Lord Brahma, because he was born from the “golden womb”.
Hiranyagarbha is Sanskrit which means the golden womb (or the Golden Orb) and is the source for the creation of the whole Universe or cosmos in Hindu philosophy.
In the Rig Veda we have a suktha dedicated to Hiranya Garbham.
The Hiraṇyagarbha Sūkta of the Rig Veda declares that God or Lord manifested Himself in the beginning as the Creator of the Universe, encompassing all things, including everything within Himself, the collective totality, as it were, of the whole of creation, animating it as the Supreme Intelligence. He is the Supreme personality known as Lord Hari.
Hiranyagarbha was what underlies the extant Brahmanda (meaning universe). According to the Rig Veda, There was only the Hiranyagarbha at the beginning. The details of that beginning are found in the nAsadIya suktam. The actual Hiranyagarbha Sukta describes how there was the Hiranyagarbha at the beginning, and how Prajapati expanded it into the extant Universe (Brahmanda) because avidya arose in his mind, entering Akasha and Kala (roughly translated as space and time, respectively).
In the Puranas the universe is termed as ‘Hiranyagarbha’ meaning the ‘golden womb’ or the ‘cosmic golden egg’.
Within this egg are all the galaxies all the solar systems, planets and all life. In this scenario the sum total of all life present inside this egg is the creation of the God-Brahma and here ‘Hiranyagarbha’ means ‘Brahma' himself.
In Upanishads we come across the word ‘virat’.......What does it mean ?
The sum total of our existence in this universe.
