IS THERE GOD IN MAN? YES INDEED & OF COURSE

There is God in Man and there need not be any doubt on this, as this has been contained in Hindu mythology, presently be known as Indian literature , details the lives and times of legendary personalities and divine incarnations on earth,. Despite connotations of fiction in common usage, the term myth, (forms the part of Mythology) in theological and academic studies, does not necessarily imply that this is untrue. Therefore it may be noted that many of the topics that falls under the Hindu mythology are cherished beliefs and have proved to be historical accounts. It’s also intertwined with ancient Vedic religion and Vedic civilization and is fundamentally connected with Hindu system of philosophy. Hence should not become a matter for dispute or debate, but accept this truth gracefully and faithfully.

It may also be noted that Lord Brahma, out of his thought created seven sages, known as SAPTHA RISHIS who are the FATHERS of all other created beings and the seven sages are: BRIGU, ANGIRA, ATRI, VISHWAMITRA, KASHYAPA, VASHISHTA & AGASTHYA- to establish the fact that first creator and the first created being MEN.

There is a good old ancient belief and saying – God created Man and Man created God and both are same in the name and form (i.e. Manusho devo bhva Tatwamasi) unfortunately in today’s scenario, by and large man takes time to realize this truth. When God created man, man felt lonely and was not aware of what to do- he with reverence and devotion prayed and humbly pleaded to the creator for a company and thus God himself entered into the heart of man and still he finds his abode in man’s heart- that’s why it is being said that Man’s heart is a flame of Love and space with purity and divinity” that’s why God dwells in his heart.

Now having become the part of the supreme power, man thought how to make woman Goddess. Man in consultation with the God within him, have decided to make woman Goddess, by parting with half of the body to woman (As lord Siva did to his consort Paravathi and became Ardhanareeswarar) and thus came the first incarnation of Goddess in the name and form of Sakthi, originated by Man and from Man- That’s why it is said and considered that there is no Sakthi without Siva which means there is no existence of Woman without Man. The very word Woman came into being as man is there in WO (man) and with out this Man, woman will be only WO and this means, misery, misfortune, calamity, pain, curse etc... It is Man who has removed all these adversities and negative elements from woman by adding himself to WO as man (Woman) and parting away with half of his body with intellectual wisdom, knowledge, divine possession and position to woman and created woman. To re-emphasize the God in man look at this-again from the ancient sayings by Rishis that woman gets the credit, benefit and half share of all the good thoughts, actions and deeds of man and he in turn gracefully accepts half share of sins and adversities out of the thought, actions and deeds of Woman- what a magnanimity in a Man as in God. That’s why its quite of ten said God is great so as Man. One has to gracefully believe it and accept this fact with unstinted belief and faith. To-day in many Indian families man (husband) is considered God to be worshipped first by woman (wife) before temple and deity worship and this principle and practice followed has brought about tremendous amount of favorable and prosperous results to the family.

By reading texts on Hinduism, Hindu mythology, Hindu scriptures, Hindu epic, Vedic mythology, Vedanta siddantha etc. one will gather more knowledge on the subject to accept the facts of the titled subject gracefully.

May God grace & bless all.
